The thing that angers me the most about the Pokemon episode is that it was F***ING PIKACHU That caused the seizures and yet, Porygon has Never been allowed to show up in the anime since outside of the porygon phone

From what I've heard, the "One Beer" Tiny Toons adventure was a case of malicious compliance. They were ordered by higher ups to have 'moral lessons' in their show, and despite arguing that the message wasn't really something that would fit in the show, were told to make an episode anyway. So they did, and intentionally made it the way they did to get it taken off the air as a sort of middle finger to the execs that made them have to write an episode with that subject matter in the first place.

A part of me wonders if the Dexter's Lab rude thing was a similar thing. Just 'bossman pissed me off ordering me to write an episode over this subject which is dumb, so I'm going to make something they can't show.'

12:20 Disney probably heard "Satanism" they immediately approved it. 😂

Hope everything is going well Kitsu and that that gas problem has been or is close to being fixed.

14:11 fun fact: the mad doctor actually would make future appearances, most notably in Epic Mickey 2, where he's the main antagonist.

Also, the walk cycle for mickey on the bridge is traced over and used in one of the many recreations of mouse.avi.

25:07 - Kitsu laughing so hard at the frog in a blender joke was peak. Yeah, it's a bad joke, but an old one, reminds me of the Newgrounds era. Frog in a blender, hamster in a microwave etc.
26:15 - It was the 90's, it was the US,  Ohio even- things were very different. Most people smoked, lighters were very easily accessible, and didn't have child safety locks if I remember correctly. As an Ohio native, 80-90's kid myself...well, many "dangerous" things were seen more as "learning moments" back then.
But yes, I'm sure there was an effort to find blame with the TV instead of the parents also.

'peppa jigsaw'
I think it's unsolvable 😂

My uncle would babysit me and my sister and put on Bevis and Butthead for us…I was 5 sister was 4.

One thing I'd like to point out about The Mad Doctor. The cartoon episode was banned, sure, but.... There is a game called Mickey Mania. The levels in that game are based of episodes (and movies) from Steamboat Willy to the latest one at the time, which was The Prince and The Pouper. Anyways, the second level of Mickey Mania is literally based on The Mad Doctor. That's right. A Mickey Mouse game that has one of its levels based on a banned cartoon episode. I guess the devs were fans or something? And, somehow, Disney being the publisher, aproved.

17:50 Holy crap I remember seeing this episode. First and last TMNT I ever watched. Freaked me out as a young child.

People keep forgetting that these shows was made by Grown/Old Adults and sometimes they get overboard to incorporate their own "desire" into their show without caring if the kids will saw it.

The 2003 TMNT series was really great but man did it get really dark in a ton of episodes
And this was when it was produced by 4kids mind you

While I don’t have a DVD with The Mad Doctor short, thanks to having the Disney Treasures Mickey In Living Colour volume 2 on DVD, I do have another ofbthe Mickey Mouse shorts that Disney have actively tried to bury just as much, if not more than The Mad Doctor, Runaway Brain, in which Mickey's brain gets switch with a monstrous Frankenstein-like version of Pete.

Took some work, but I got a copy on DVD and, while disc 1 is cracked so it's safety to watch is questionable, Runaway Brain is on disc 2, which is perfectly fine and the main reason I wanted the 2 disc set to begin with, so, if I can't watch disc 1 in the future, but can disc 2, I'm not exactly going to be heartbroken.

Also, I recommend you react to MoreParz videos about Australian animals.

You’ll understand that, as much as you THINK you know how insane our flora and fauna are, you ain't seen nothing yet😅🤣

2:47 I never knew they actually banned this episode. I used to watch this episode too.

3:50 i guess it's time for Kitsu to learn about More Parz... and watsch his shorts XD

I actually have a DVD of the 2003 TMNT series from season 4 that contains the Insane In the Membrane episode.

Though, if you think THAT'S nuts for a 4kidz show, you should've heard what Demon Shredder says to Karai.

It'll honestly make you pause and ask "this was a 4KIDZ show?"

I remember bits and pieces from when I was 5 mainly trauma or really good times obviously

Jumping spiders can hunt some of the venomous ones

She returns 😂❤❤

Hope you're alright Kitsu🩷🩷🩷
