AI stories are nearly always heart warming. I enjoy stories about the good in people's hearts.

My Mother had a lot of similarities to Ilsa Brandt, including the same name. She also ended up as a nursing assistant, never graduated to nurse though, served in Poland, then back to Germany but never ended up as a POW.

This story and the narrator did very good. My wife of 45 years made tea the exact same way she was a farmer's daughter, my father was a farmer.  We are from Georgia. We both picked some cotton,  It is hard hot work. There is good in most people it's Governments that bring out the bad. I fought in Nam 67,68,69 was wounded. My greatest fear was not death it was the though of being captured. The enemy in Vietnam did very bad things to those captured. These women were not combatants.

Special note here. One of my friends fathers was a POW in a German camp, his stomach was never right for the rest of his life

Good story.  Honest, forthright people doing hard work in the middle of a World War, though thousands of miles away.  They meet as enemies and learn they are all just people.

Sidebar - As a diabetic, I shouldn’t drink sweet tea.  I either drink unsweet tea or use Splenda, something unavailable in WWII.
A friend of mine was an Army officer’s wife who had to entertain guests in the Houston area.  She would put a small pitcher of simple syrup (boil a cup of water and stir in a cup of sugar) on the tray with a pitcher of iced tea.  People could easily and quickly sweeten their tea to their liking.

I realize this is only a story made up for YouTube but it was well done and heart warming.

The worst thing abut WW2 was the fact that greedy, evil people used their own citizens as firewood, to bring their own people to a range of power that could not exist in reality. Were the Americans innocent of this, were the industrialists who knew war meant more profit per day I am certain some of them counted bodies out and funerals back as the reasonable cost of saving their society and making bank, no matter what. Evil, greedy men perverted and destroyed their own people. At least two societies and multiple nations were harmed or destroyed in this venture to gain control of the whole world and rule ov er it like petty gods. No government was innocent.

If all the vegetables they grew went to the camp how would there be anything left for his table. Edit your product.

Really awful AI slop.  The pitcher changes from glass to pottery to enamelled tin.  The inside of the barn has sunlight coming in from the back.  And there were under 30 german women sent to the USA..
