Can You Beat Halo 2 On Legendary As A Marine?

Butter My Baps

244,040 views

Halo 2 Legendary is already infamous for being completely unreasonable, so naturally I decided to make it worse by playing the entire game as a Marine.

There were a lot of deaths.
A lot of suffering.
And probably several occasions where I questioned why I was doing this.

Big thank you to @DrearyMussell5 for creating such an amazing mod.

lore accurate experience for the average ODST during the Covenant War.

After Halo CE, this marine survive the covenant and flood AGAIN and killed a prophet. This hero deserved more than a medal 👏

Bro survived halo 1 legendary and got promoted to an ODST what a beast

The drive lore is unironically very interesting. Speaking of which, I love the implication of the Flood wanting the stash as it implies Keyes was able to mentally fend off the Flood when it was rummaging through his mind back in CE.

Ngl, considering the stats, Halo 2 on Legendary as a marine should be easier than as a Spartan with "Extremely resilient" armor shields

I always had a feeling that Marines had more health than the Chief on Legendary. What the fuck

@WaterLockser 2 years ago

I don't think anyone would say you "failed" the run because you turned off the skulls for that lift part. Its not like it was a skill issue or you wanted to cheat. It was just physically impossible to progress due to how the parameters were

Watched for the challenge, stayed for the plot.

This marine has destroyed a halo ring beat a covenant armada the flood and blew up a halo ring. Now he’s out here doing it again plus killing the prophet of regret. This is the best marine ever.

Idk why it hurts me so badly but the fact that bro didn't know you could bring the tank through until now hurt my inner child. Same with how you can take the warthog to the hunter section in CE's silent cartographer.

I think i beat 2 missions total on Legendary in Halo 2 by myself. So i can't even imagine playing this game at THIS level.
You, sir, are still INSANE.

Having beat halo 2 legendary many times... there is nothing more fun than watching someone else have a 1000x different experience and yet have the same frustrations.

Halo 2 but you’re playing as the tv show master chief

@ghostlyswat12 2 years ago

It’s cool that they made a change for the arbiters missions i honestly would of expected them to just make you a marine and call it a day

But Hey atleast they didn’t make you a grunt lol

Fun fact: Halo 2's AI is linked to the framerate. Originally the framerate on Xbox was 30 FPS, but I am assuming this is the PC release which goes to 60 FPS which means that the AI is twice as fast as it was in the original game.

Heard your comment at 49:55 about a flood horror game from the Marine's perspective, and you should know that's exactly the premise behind a fan game called Branching Sickness. It's in development, but from what I've seen it looks really good so far.

Playing Halo 2 on Legendary as a marine with the Anger and That's Just Wrong skulls, and not relying on the elite (noob) combo. You, sir, have earned my like, subscription, and respect.
