the first one is stilgar descendant

i love the first reaction, its quite literally the difference between stilgar's mentality and chani's mentality and at the end she's looking at him like "boy, what is wrong with you?"

At this point Paul has leaderships claims to three planets. Arrakis, Geidi Prime, and Caladan.

7:47- With Hans Zimmer being a fan of the book this movie is based on, you're damn right he did.

The movies have been excellent but the book really made it ultra clear that after taking the Water of Life, Paul's "vision" of the future opened completely and he was able to see time spreading out to the point that he was living in every version of his future at once and choosing the exact words that are on the way to the futures he wants.

10:40 I can’t stop laughing at this. 🤣 “Austin Butler is his uncle.”

Book readers know Paul figured out he was the Baron’s grandson the night after Leto was killed, when Jessica and he were still running

Comparing the Water of Life to a Monster drink had me in stitches.

Taking and transmuting the water of life doesn't change Paul, it perfects his prescience. He can now see all possible futures, as well as the past and realizes it is already too late to avoid the jihad. Instead of trying to figure out how to avoid it, he just goes all-in on it. It doesn't come up in the movies, but in the book they talk about how he has limited mentat abilities. Now that he can see everything, he accepts and makes the hard, but most logical choice. I am curious to see how the resolve Chani's reaction here in Part III, because in the book she is more devoted than Stilgar. Though she is devoted to the man, while Stilgar is devoted to the legend.
