I got my hands on the $2,500 Takin RC Kit — a build so insane it probably shouldn’t exist. In this video, I assemble and test the kit to see if it lives up to the hype. This could be perfect for RC enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone curious about next-level RC builds.

That price is beyond insane for a 3d printed nylon car, it's worth more like $500ish......
The fact that it's the same the same price if not more than most CrossRC's is INSANE💀

I guess I'm one of the Luddites. That much money for 3D printed parts seems crazy to me. I wouldn't be comfortable forking over that kinda dosh for anything that wasn't almost entirely high quality metal. Looking forward to your durability testing!

Those windows are probably my favorite part, it's just a standout part of the overall build. Looks wild, definitely outside my price range, but I respect it existing.

I had reported earlier that I was limited to one version, after asking about that I was sent all versions and a new style cab. I like the tires so much, i ordered a additional set and was surprised to see and additional set of rims (w/hdw) and foams. The packaging was done really well, but a few parts were damaged. Replacements were sent right away, but one of the parts with a super thin portion with threaded insert didn't survive. A replacement was shipped asap and survived. I haven't had a chance to even start the assembly, maybe in the fall. I asked about assembling and oil stains, they recommended wearing white gloves and did say it could be painted. Desert sand sound good! Thanks again!

Hey bud, great video as always!
I can see why the military didn't want it. Last thing you want is exposed driveshafts when an IED goes off under you.

That ventilation ductwork is impressive 😮. I love the organic utilitarian look.
