Today, the videographer goes out, buys a headscarf for Fatemeh, and brings it to her. Fatemeh thanks her, saying, "Now I understand why you were late." As the two are talking, Hamzeh arrives, complaining that he feels very unwell, and asks Fatemeh to make him some soup. Fatemeh says she has no ingredients at home, but Hamzeh points out that everything needed is available at his own house. Fatemeh goes to prepare the soup, but Hamzeh’s wife stops her, saying, "You made Hamzeh sick, and now you want to make him soup?" Fatemeh retorts, "If you think I made him sick, then you make the soup." Hamzeh’s wife replies that she is unable to do so. Hamzeh intervenes, insisting that Fatemeh be allowed to make the soup, so she sets about preparing it. Once the soup is ready, Fatemeh stays to ensure Hamzeh eats it, fearing his wife might slip something into it to frame her. After the soup is prepared, Fatemeh helps Hamzeh sit up, feeds him the soup, and then leaves.
