As an Austin Booker truther, he's playing some high level defense lately and no one is talking about him. He nearly had a pick 6, sack, force fumble and lots of tackles. I love the identity of this defense, hopefully we can keep this cohesion and roll over teams.

Dales had 2 excellent insights: 1. Jets are second ranked D in NFL. 2. Poles told her DL would be better coached, improved techniques and come in waves.

Imagine this Defense with Coby Bryant and Kyler Gordon! Just gotta build the Dline

I agree with Dillon helping the team, you can't blitz that much if you have a weak secondary

EXCELLENT PERSPECTIVE!

When they add Coby Bryant, Kyler Gordon, and Shamar Turner… the defense becomes a top 10 unit.

Dillon and Malik have been fantastic for us. Also Loving how Dayo has been producing from the interior. Bear down!

against the jets on a short week he might stay with keenum, i can see that. but there is also the window shopping u can do with bagent which is an incentive to play him.  theyll never trade keenum, they might bagent and if you can demo u have 3 qbs ... someone will bite on offering for keenum as season goes on.  so thats another factor i think.

As long as they keep concentrating on stopping the run and technique, the run D can be top 12 perhaps hit the top 10.

The biggest issue last year was being a goddamn sieve in the run game

I think Ben Johnson was a genius this game, everyone in America expected a rushing game because Caleb wasn`t playing but he trusted Case Keenum, I think the eagles defence  practised all week to defend against the rush and looked kind of lost when the rush game didn`t come.

Allegiance might have something to do with it but football minds understand beyond that. Aaron Glenn is a great defensive coordinator and will have tape and be able to game plan more efficiently than Fangio was able to do. Play the guy with the stronger arm and more mobility. Case was outstanding but Tyson is number 2 for a solid reason and Ben knows how to game plan with Bagent’s strengths.

I love Stacey and she should be excited about Dillon. Our defense is getting better every game. Just wait until we are fully healthy if that ever happens

"the offensive line is special" i think Minnesota would argue that.

The Eagles obviously didn't watch enough of the Bears vs. Vikings game film or they would have attacked Bradbury directly with a DT head up all game. Braxton Jones can't stay health and is only passable at LT when he is healthy. Benedet is terrible in pass protection, and requires Cole Kmet to stay glued to his left hip when he's in at LT. We really need Trapilo back healthy ASAP. Then hopefully Logan Jones is learning and developing quickly behind Bradbury. Maybe he could take over later in the season if Bradbury falters again like he did against the Vikings. The defensive secondary could improve considerably by the end of the season if they get Bryant, Gordon, and Johnson at 100% healthy. Thienemen is solid and will get better each game with additional experience. Same with Malik Muhammed. He actually looks pretty good already, and if Gordon gets back to man the slot, Muhammed looks like he'll take over Stevenson's spot full time. After all the Bears organization and fans consternation over Kyler Gordon injury status, I', wondering if anyone else has noticed the pattern emerging from the Bears medical staff over player injuries? First it was Kyler Gordon supposedly being healthy enough to practice, but choosing not to for some reason. Second it was Coby Bryant supposedly only bruising his knee and being out for 8 to 10 weeks, before finding out he needed surgery and would be out 4 to 6 months. No way Schefter reported that on his own without a source from the Bears, BTW. Third it was Caleb Williams hamstring injury that was portrayed as more of a cramp, so that he wasn't even ruled out for the following game. Turns out it was a grade 2 strain that'll keep him out at least a month. What's going on with the Bears handling of player injuries, because it sucks.

we DO have that guy on the D, his initials are D.A.

The defense blew me away the other night. The run defense looked terrible starting out, but made good adjustments and shut them down in the 2nd half. Lets see what Bagent has to offer. If he falters then put Case in.

My two cents on the Bears starting quarterback situation, as been said Tyson earned the number two spot through camp and personally I find it disrespectful to start case over him if he is actually healthy and ready to play... Now if Tyson lays an egg yeah you can throw case in there and see if he can continue to have success like he did the previous week but as I said Tyson this is the number two if he's healthy he plays it's as simple as that

There’s tape on CK now there’s no tape on Bagent

I can’t see Ben benching a veteran after a stellar MNF performance!
