If you told me that MSG spent his entire life training just to give the world this one 22 minute rendition, this one piece of gem that is so bright and glowing that it outshines everything else, these notes interwoven so beautifully together that the end product is something more than music itself, something ethereal and divine, then I would believe you. This world, our lives, they all just seem smaller somehow, after listening to this.

MSG is a great violinist and has mastered the art of playing music on the violin. The sounding is perfect and the accompanying percussionist is superb. It is a pleasure to listen to the soul stirring music .

This composition requires more recognition than what it has. It is truly out of this world. Everyday I listen to it I find something new

Add to this his demeanor while playing the violin. The beatific smile on his face and the masterly handling of the violin. Oh! Heaven on earth 🙏🙏🙏

Superb, Like a flowing river

One of the greatest masterpieces I have heard.  Pranams to the maestro

Takes the listener to a different plane.... emotional and spiritual....
Salutes to Great Vidhwan Guru MSG sir.

How could someone dislike this....

Sri MSG was master of both Carnatic & Hindustani music! He has accompanied d Great Sri Bismillah Khan in Violin! His way of synchronising d Carnatic & Hindustani style especially in Raga Alapana & swaram renders his unique, attractive, pleasing etc.,

The North Indian equivalent of Nalinakanti is Tilak Kamod. But there are differences in their treatment. MSG's rendition brings in the essence of both the raagas. But he doesn't stop there. He goes beyond and introduces the Western style harmonization (8:00 onwards), then brings in the cadence of a traditional Bengali folk (14:30 onwards -- "রুনুঝুনু নুপুর বাজে ছমক ছমক তালে" etc.) as murchhana and abirbhava! Wonder what lavel of imagination one must have to assimilate all these in one composition... Amazing!!!

Thanjavur and Gwalior met in Parur 🤝

Thank god.  Thanks msg.  I am really forgetting  my pains n sorrows in this piece of musical magic.  I remember the day I accompanied on pitch box shruthi pettiness in Mandya 5 decades ago.  N msg has also acknowledged this many times whenever I met him.  A vert great masters.   Namaste.   Baalu

MSG 's musical genius  still refreshes our  mind and spirits.a genius born once in a century

The accompanying Mridangam artist is no less a virtuoso, embellishing the rendition with discreet but brilliant accompaniment

🕉Sir MSGs divine clarity flows effortlessly in this "one of its kind" rendition that unconditionally immerses a listener deep into trance experience. Unparalleled, downright absolute introspective.  Few years ago in Bengaluru, I had the privilege to drop Sir MSG and his daughter after a concert at Sri Rama Seva Mandali.  🙏🙏

He sounds like BISMILLA KHAN.
OUR SIDE IS TILAK KAMOD.
GK, HAS EVERTHING. ALL YOU ADD IS LOVE.

No difference between Ustad Bismillah Khan and Vidwan MSG. So pure.

When something profound inside the artiste is one with the infinite source of creativity,  this is the kind of music that flows as music chooses to play through the artiste. Artiste becomes the instrument, and the infinite source of creativity becomes the artiste.

Wow... this is indeed a very different take on Nalinikanthi! So refreshing to find such rarity. It sounds a lot like banarasi kajri in its exeuction style. Very nicely done! Almost like a Hindustani Khayal... Such beauty and creativity!

Stuff of #Legends ❤❤❤

No one can play this better than MSG
