Me and my wee Dad, sadly he passed on the 1/1/26 but by GOD he was so happy that night. He was born in England but lived up here for 58yrs and was more Scottish than most. He said to me coming away this will be my last game at hampden and told him to shut up as there will be plenty more. He obviously knew he didn't have long left but never let on. Great memories. Thank you Scotland.

Well. That's me in bits again.

THAT was probably the greatest night in Scotland's footballing history. Will never tire of watching that

Thompson shouting on commentary “oh my god he’s done him! He’s done him, he’s done him he’s done hiiiiiiiiim……..” should be on T-shirts forever more. Still tearing up rewatching these.

Still moves me to tears. Waited nearly half my life to see Scotland at a World Cup again.

Nights like this are why I’m still alive. Never give up. Joy is always round the corner.

I watched this match by chance as a neutral spectator and will never forget it in my life.
From the scottish national anthem till the thrilling final minutes I enjoyed this match so much (admitting that the scottish team was too passive after every of the first two goals) and at the end it was soooooooo deserved to go to the World Cup finals!!
One of the best matches I have ever watched! Well done and good luck, Scotland, especially after spending ten days of holiday in the Highlands three weeks ago!
Scotland's on Fire, NaNaNaNaNaaaNa!!!🥳

This should be played in the dressing room before each match in the US! Wow what a night, I travelled home from Sydney to go to the match with my old man and my niece. I'll cherish the memories of that game forever 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I was there with my 13 year old son and you can't describe the feeling of how it feels to experience a match like that with your son (or daughter) and they're old enough to understand. It was an unbelievable night and memories that we'll have forever. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

But the story isn't over ... we're off to Boston for the World Cup next Wednesday 10th June and no matter what happens, this best wee country in the world will have us loving it more. The players have made us so happy, but the fans, the famous Tartan Army, will make sure we have the time of our lives and make friends with people from countries across the world ... whether they want new friends or not, they're getting new friends. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I felt the same way in 1999 when we beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in extra time. I went through every emotion possible, from anxiety to euphoria. People should experience it at least once.

The despair on Kieran & Kenny’s faces as Denmark got the late equaliser. How their fates and ours changed in stoppage time. The absolute best Scotland game I’ve ever been to. What a night.

As a Scotsman that lives abroad now, I was lucky enough to be back visiting family when this match was happening. What a night it was. Will always remember watching this game with my dad.

Great anthem and supporters! Greetings from Poland, Silesia. Come on Scotland!

I was in the pub sitting in anxious despair as it ticked into the 90th minute, and my Irish pal said "there's plenty of time left" fresh off the troy parrot heroics from a few nights before. Absolute carnage when Tierney scored and then screaming at the telly for the final whistle and up steps McLean.

Its been half a year and watching this never gets old.

Best video of this type ever. Perfectly captures the madness of that night. Never thought anything would beat Sweden at Italia '90, but by God, that was my best night ever as a Scotland fan. So, so special to be there.

My God I love the joy!! Go on Scotland 🎉❤

I watched it in a hospital bed in Thailand after suffering food poising. Attached to the drip 4.30am and shouting like a looney in my private room.

I'm no greetin ... you're greetin, ya wee fud. 😭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Young guys behind me were crying  their eyes out  at the end of the game.

I'm crying. And I'm not even Scottish.
