Compared to nearby Fukuoka or larger cities like Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo, Kumamoto may lack the bustling vibe, but there’s still so much to enjoy! Whether you want to explore historical landmarks, savor delicious Japanese cuisine, or go on a shopping spree, I truly believe Kumamoto offers an incredible independent travel experience! Shopping here isn't too crowded, and you won’t have to wait long at famous food spots. After this trip, I am completely blown away and can't wait to return!
