We got some drafts in for Ashes of the Empire, and what we have found is that way more of the leaders are very, very playable than you would expect. There is a LOT of variety and some of these leaders have really surprised us! We'll break them down and let you know which ones you should keep an eye on.

From my experience in Limited, Ezra(he is RED Heroic already) green is also a good paring apart from the more aggressive yellow, and agree that blue is not a good choice.
Some good Green C/U for him: Crix, Blurg, Consortium Starviper, Stolen ETA Shuttle, Clan Wren Loyalist is actually decent if you played 3 power Turn1 - also helps with hand size if you play Inspired Recruits - great with Ezra, Fang Fighter Squadron as it helps to keep the initiative, Defenders of the Forest - might also result with additional advantage token.
And imagine getting these: Bo-Katan to pair with Night Owl/Clan Wren Loyalist/Protectorate Fighter or getting Bo-Katan's Lightsaber, not to mention legendary 'The Dark Saber'.

About Sabine, I think they forgot to print one line of text on her: "Shields on friendly units ignore 1 damage." - That would solve all the issues with her.

Great discussion. I agree completely there are at least 6 common leaders that are completely draft viable (Baylan, Ahsoka, Cad, Ezra, Greef, and Shin). That is also going to benefit Sabine as she becomes much more viable when Cad is not as dominant. Even Gideon might show strength when you can draft for Imperials/Green Villain. Outside of Cad, I think the common leader design was very on point this set. I do think Ezra Red might be the strongest color pairing in limited BUT I think the other leaders have more aspect flexibility than him.
