I mean, he didn't say "my mummy hunt" he said "My Mummy Adventure" so I don't think it was overwhelmingly hostile

Big D being Mithras is the crackest of all crackpot theories.

@yusefwebb9727 1 month ago

If the god emperor actually liked being around his family

Just some things I wanted to note:

Gnomes do exist in WoD! They're just a subtype of Changeling, but in this case, the gnomes shown were probably just umbra spirits Stig called upon to futz with the guns.

Hunts having difficulty speaking may be due to her jumping from Glabro and Crinos.

The rabbit Stig has in his eye is a Milk Hare reference.

Remember in 1.2 when D says he's been "deliriously obliterating fools like you since the 90s" and Kevin mocks him asking if it was the 1890s and D snickers? I think it was the 90s full stop. As in, the 90s, first century.

Big D never said he hunted a mummy, he said he had an adventure involving one. Maybe he helped or got the help of a fellow mummy?

My man Big D probably had beef with Ea-Nassir

Btw for context: Mike Dragonswraith is currently the scariest thing we've seen on screen according to WOD. Understand he could, almost certainly, kill Styig and his packmates with minimal effort. We should kinda hope he stays the funny advertisement man, because he would rock D's family in a physical fight, and he has connections that make him not have to physically fight you

One detail in particular in the latest episode pretty thoroughly josses the Imbued theory: D's plan to track the werewolves through the Umbra. According to the Moonstruck sourcebook, Imbued absolutely cannot enter the Umbra by any means, as the Messengers keep them firmly tied to Earth.

I think that BIG D is mummy and very ancient

7:22 It is a Milk Hare from Swedish folklore
8:22 It was True Faith. Stig literally said “my faith is truer than yours” when going warform.
12:21 D might know about mages because one of his exes was a mage cough cough Arthur Teal from Norfolk Wizard Game cough cough

I still hope that one of big d's unseen children, lets call him robert, has a elfish sidhe/ changeling wife.

7:23 the gnomes look like a clear riff on the "Gremlins" power some werewolves can get, its also probably a callback to Charles from G-Konteret talking about Gnomes, likely showing that he has run into Stig in the past.

Enkidu, the old friend and rival of the great Gilgamesh. His physical stature, high intellect and resentment toward the rules of modern society. I just saw chapter 3.8 and his reaction to boy’s story implies he isn’t just immersing in the story

7:22 its actually not just a hare, its a milk hare or "Bjära", a spirit a witch would send to steal the neighbors milk directly from the cow. its so fast you cant even see it. im pretty sure they adapted it to give stig the teleport ability he has with a uniqe scandinavian twist.

@BlazeMakesGames 1 month ago

I do like mummy for a similar reason to your ascended vampire theory.

I know WoD mummies aren’t really of the type most people think of but it would still mean that he is an ancient undead immortal beacon of hope like he is in 40k

@reedman1337 1 month ago

twist: hes just a normal human

@mr.funkbot7048 1 month ago

I so far haven‘t seen anyone talk about Ds interaction with Giles in the 99p Blender Audiolog (Part 1).
He mentions Orangutans being endangered completely out of left field, and initially, Giles just seems confused. The way the text is animated leads me to believe that in that moment, D was using some sort of suggestion to get Giles riled up.

@Technobabble83 1 month ago

there are also bane mummies, which are basically knockoff temu versions of regular mummies using a bastardized version of the spell of life, which causes them to be evil. so D could be a mummy, and have hunted one of these bane mummies.

My biggest issue with the D Vampire theory is that I'm pretty sure (THE GREAT AND MIGHTY) Kevin would have reacted differently to tasting methulah blood in episode 1.
