Braving the bins without gloves is crazy

Here's a helpful hint with stain removal. Spray the stain with whatever brand you use ( I use Zout)  and don't wash until the following day. I have found this works much better. It gives the stain remover enzymes more time to break down the stains.

I guess a storm cant stop a tornado...

First time I've heard anyone at the bins say "I'm going to look for more vegetables"

Went to Kohl's Friday for their additional 50% off clearance sale and picked up 3 dress pants, 4 1/4 zip sweaters (one an Under Armor 1/4 zip), one cardigan sweater and two shirts for $80.   Better than GW prices!

My hubby and I went out last weekend. We started at a local Goodwill. I was looking for a loose tank top for the gym. The shirts there were $5.99 each.  Needless to say, we bought nothing.  As well, shoes that were nicer were $17.99 a pair and they wrote on the shoe in Sharpie!  We went onto the Salvation Army store about 2 miles from there.  I got 2 tank tops; one was $2.99, the other one was $1.99.  When I checked out, everything was %50 off!  The shoes were all around $6.99-$12.99 price range. A much better deal for someone even though we did not purchase any shoes. I also picked up some paperback books for .50cents each at SA. I think GW has lost their minds.  Their prices are nuts. 😲

Props to the employees who showed up for work!

Your bins look great there. The one we go to the employees shout at us like we’re in prison “everybody behind the line!” This is when they are bringing new bins out. They rotate every hour.

I couldn’t imagine trying to make a living this way, I am a old 67 year old lady, thank god, I have a great pension, god bless the thousands of people trying to make a living this way, 🙏🏼

Try washing the canvas tote inside out,

If you really want to get those stains out you need to use your Oxi Clean in a tub of hot water it says to activate in Hot water let it soak for at least 4 hours or maybe overnight I have gotten out things you would have thrown away! The Costco (Kirkland brand) is just the same that is all I use. Maybe give it a try 😊
Love your channel!

I use that OxiClean Max all the time to get out long-term stains. It's best if you spray it and leave it for a day or two and then wash it. Let it soak in!

Stain remover secret when all else fails….. Lestoil pretreat stains, then wash, takes out stuff even the spot treatments don’t.
Old trick from my mom…saved many things over the years. ( if you can’t find it local Ace Hardware delivers to local stores with online order.)

Also, when I have stained items, I'll spray them, let them sit for a couple of days & use vinegar as well as oxiclean & then I'll hang it to dry. I find that drying them in the dryer will set the stain. Hope this helps!

Does Goodwill EVER clean the bottom of those disgusting bins!? You guys are braver than me for getting so close to the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. Yikes! That said, it looks like taking one for the team is paying off. Some good overlooked stuff down there. Kudos! 👏

Hint on stains, use dawn dish soap and powder oxy clean. Scrub then wash. Look at stains to see if it’s gone before you throw it in dryer.

I really like how you’re showing how you’re problem solving dirt, batteries, testing stuff, etc

To get the stains removed, I use SPRAY and WASH RESOLVE. It gets all the stains removed. You can even get the refill in the supermarket.

Our goodwill store sorts everything into categories and distributes it into departments. Very organized and overpriced in Oakwood,  Georgia.

Try using Zote laundry bar soap.  Just get the fabric wet and rub the bar.

You can also grate and add it to your washer about 1/4 cup.

Hope it works.
