During our stay in Hakuba, we loaded up the Brompton onto the Mini and went to the Sea of Japan to eat crabs. We happened to visit a fishing port there once before, a dreamlike world of 'crab parties' everywhere, with buckets full of crabs surrounded by couples, friends and family. We didn't get to eat them last time, so this time we are taking our revenge.
A delightful drive to the Sea of Japan, a pleasant bike ride with a view of the sea, and piles of crabs, crabs, crabs!
Why not go out for one last outdoor adventure(?) before it gets too cold to stay indoors?
