A really cool detail that seemingly was missed: Hawthourne revived you as a Hunter.. Which means he had engineering(confirmed by his goggles) and used Goblin Jumper Cables to revive, which have like a 33% chance of even working.

As someone who's been playing WoW since 2006, I have to say I'm absolutely loving this series. Watching it always puts a smile on my face. It's genuinely refreshing to see someone getting excited about all the little quests, hidden details, and moments that many of us veterans stopped noticing years ago. You've reminded me what it felt like to experience Azeroth with fresh eyes, and that's something really special. Keep it up!

Please do gawk at the landscapes and tell us, we're here to experience it all with you.

The zones/landscapes/environment art has been one of the most praised and loved aspects of WoW.

This series is an instant click when it pops up!

You are going to love The Scarlet Monastery dungeons 30-40 GBAY! I expect a big video about them!!

God the "public" world transport in WoW is so underrated. Having to wait for, then boarding a timed boat or blimp with lots of other players, then just standing on it as it travels, watching all the scenery go by, it's SUCH a vibe!

I uninstalled retail and classic after deleting 30 or more toons. Gave all my gold to the guild before uninstall. Now I am impatiently waiting for every one of your videos. Keep them coming, you are part of my closure process! Once I finish WC III (thanks to you) and this series you are doing, I can lay my addiction to rest permanently, and with a smile.

Gbay saying let's quickly do the missing diplomat is the same vibe as madseason saying let's quickly do monkey madness

I don't think there is a better dude to "find" the wonderful world that is Warcraft. These videos brings back my joy for the Lore once more.

this man is going to LOVE the plaguelands

Fun fact about the Missing Diplomat bug you experienced - the actual bug was that the guards didn't aggro as soon as you talked to the NPC. They're supposed to be on his side and you're supposed to have to fight all 3 at once. Glad it bugged out though, it would have been a pretty tough fight!

Ironically, the human lore follow up from Warcraft 3 you are looking for comes more from the Undead zones than the human ones--at least at the start.

30:30 i could be wrong, but it seems like that player who came to help you only healed you, and didnt damage Mor’ladim. Which is awesome! I know it really doesnt matter, but just supporting you while you still get the kill is a great feeling

We’re back to the greatest adventure ever told. This playthrough got me to stop and smell the roses again in Wow

There's a tonnnnn of Warcraft 3 stuff, it's just mostly in the Forsaken questing experience and that's also where Sylvanas is; The plague mostly affected the northern parts of the Eastern Kingdoms, while the southern ones like Stormwind are more connected to the lore of Warcraft 1 and 2, since that's where the orcs first appeared. Orc questing is also great for people who enjoyed the Founding of Durotar Rexxar campaign.

As a WoW veteran, I realize how much story I missed. I have such love for this series.

I've learned more about the lore in this game from these 3-4 videos than I have playing the game for hundreds/thousands of hours over the last 20 years... I should read more quest text.

All the statues in the Valley of Heroes in Stormwind represent characters from Warcraft 2. At the end of the game, they defeat the Horde and close the Dark Portal. However, in doing so, they become stranded in the Orcs' home world, and people believe they have died. This is one of the themes of WoW's first expansion, "The Burning Crusade."

And the re-release of WC2 + the expansion is still a good game. In case you need an RTS again sometime.

Another reason why it's smart to keep people in the starting zones for so long, and in having the main cities for each faction, is that it greatly increases your chances of running into the same players, thus leading to all those fun interactions and making it feel like a real community.
That said, there's so many questing zones that if you create an alt, you can have a completely new experience, especially if you pick a race that starts on a different continent.
