Cleaning a black powder rifle is part of the experience of shooting a muzzleloader. For me it's a peaceful activity. Doing it right will assure the shooter a clean and working rifle for years to come. Just my view.

Wow! That was quick and easy! I have to admit that being new to muzzleloaders the idea of pouring water down the barrel made every hair on the back of my neck stand on end! Seems to work great now that I’ve tried it. Thanks for the video!

I do believe that the Lee real concals do help clean barrel when shooting and loading them ,,, they say and I must agree somewhat

Took delivery on a pedersoli Kentucky flintlock today you answered my question about the necessity of removing the barrel for proper cleaning, something I was hesitant to do because of the small pins and possible damage to the stock

It’s been many years since I owned and used black powder rifles. Now at 70 yoa , I’m getting back into it with a Pedersoli Blue Ridge and TVM Fowler. Looks like a good process for cleaning. Thanks for taking the time to share your method.

Another excellent video. I don't even wait to get home to start the cleaning process. Run water through the bore at the range, to neutralize corrosive salts.

Great cleaning sequence, and very simple too! Thanks for sharing your info it really makes a difference in how fast one can learn the right way to keep the smoke pole in good condition!
