Tanjiro hits Hashira level when he realizes he can see the movements of Giyu and Sanemi when they were dueling.

Let's not forget that the boy is the reason why Hashiras started developing the mark. If you remember well, one can only attain the Demon slayer mark if one around has it activated. My boi Tanjiro unlocked it for most Hashiras, while he may not be super powerful, you can't deny he's a prodigy.

i hope they add a scene in the hashira training arc where we see their new ranks. it feels so off that not only have the trio killed lower one together but also upper 6. and now tanjiro has killed upper 4 too. so tanjiro alone has been in more uppermoon fights and been important to winning those fights which is more than even hashira has done

You do great work. One thing that was clarified in the infinity castle movie. Tanjiro was not fighting with his mark against Akaza until the last few chapters of the fight. He activates right when he saves Giyuu by cutting off Akaza’s hand. when Akaza is about to punch a hole through Giyuu’s stomach. That’s when Tanjiro activates his mark. It’s very clear in the anime. So almost the whole fight when Tanjiro was fighting he was doing it in base.

When I was talking about STW Selfless Tanjiro I was talking about how his attack speed shouldn’t be increasing (it increases his reaction speed I forgot to explicitly state that), sorry😅

Awesome video man! I’d like to share my thoughts on 13th Form Tanjiro vs Gyomei / Kokushibo if that’s ok with you:

Marked Tanjiro ~ Base Giyuu < Base Gyomei, so if 13th Form Tanjiro ≥ Mark + STW Gyomei, 13th Form is a greater amp than the Mark + STW combined.

13th Form > Mark + STW, although not inconceivable, never felt right to me, so I’ve always headcanoned that Muzan 1-shotting 4 Hashiras & 3 Hashira lvl Slayers was an attack that had a cooldown like his Shockwave attack.

If this’s the case, then my personal scaling for Tanjiro would be 13th Form or STW+SS Tanjiro ~ Marked Gyomei, while Composite Tanjiro (has access to 13th, STW, SS, Red Blade, etc.) ~ Mark-STW-Red Weapons Gyomei.

Mark-STW-RW Gyomei is well above 50% of Long Blade Kokushibo’s prowess, as Marked Gyomei + Marked Sanemi > Base Kokushibo, Marked Gyomei > Marked Sanemi, and Gyomei’s STW & Red Weapons cancels out Koku’s STW & Long Blade. Composite Tanjiro by extension is also well above 50% of Long Blade Koku’s prowess.

Awesome video! My only critique would be that transparent world does enable the user to see the muscles and the internal organs of the opponent. Making reaction time faster, therefore increasing movement speed. Because they can see the muscles tense up before the opponent makes his/her move. So, I would say it gives the user a noticeable speed boost.

id argue the hysterical strength feat on daki is actually used many times throughout the series like when he chased hantengu towards to the humans in the field. and thats reflected in the same way hysterical strength has been seen in real life too where the more physically fit someone is or the greater muscle mass they have has resulted in less intense injuries whether due to the actual muscle fibers being stronger and the intuitive reaction to remember to breathe or in the case of larger muscles there isnt enough oxygen being supplied to that excess mass in a moment of hysterical strength to fully utilize and rip it apart.

the hashira muzan one shotted were gyomei, sanemi, giyu, and obanai, also zenitsu, kanao, and inosuke. they would be at kokus level, but i feel like tanjiro didnt defeat him just held him long enoguh until sunrise so id say hes stronger than douma, mid dif douma. if he was fighting healthy and performed this koku level
