I flew to Asia's least visited country, to try out Chinese built airliners that are banned in the west. It nearly ended badly...

In this episode Noel makes a 28 minute video about the least visited country in Asia with 28 different pronunciations of the said country's name.

I like this game of 'how many different ways can I incorrectly pronounce Laos'!

That gate agent asking if you were tired was a great line.

"Least visited country in Asia" had me thinking it was Timor-Leste. Then I saw the Lao plane. In actual area Laos is not so small but its population is small.

The gate agent asking if you were tired. He was fully aware of what you were doing and was ready for you. They seemed to look after the oddball traveller.

East Timor is the least visited country in Asia. Laos is a popular backpacker destination.

Dude, Laos is bound to be the next Bali. Even when I went there in 2019 there was already an established digital nomad community in LPQ and Vang Vieng. Wasn't the least visited back then and certainly isn't now.

Laos is not the least visited country in Asia. It’s well established on the backpacker trail.

It's worth noting that the MA-60 isn't exactly "banned", they just never applied for certification in the US or Europe as it was never intended to fly there.

Hi Noel. 8 millioin Kip is $368 US witch makes it a seriously expensive room in Laos. And your Coffee would have been 25,000Kip which is about $1.15 US

Hi Noel, the steep climb out is due to the weight and center of pressure being further back than normal modern aircraft. The angle of the engines in their higher torque position means it at full power needs trimming down at the nose...

I’ve never heard anybody pronounce Laos as “Lay-ohss.”

Thank you (No13) Noel for another great video .

I wish that you would spend some time in the locations you visit and show us those locations. Here you missed a the tri-point of Laos, Thailand and Burma.

The C909 actually only features the fuselage structure lifted from the DC-9 series, it's engines are the GE CF34 (CRJ700), and the wing was designed by Antonov.

That wing design is the reason for the super steep climbouts, it's insanely more efficient than even the 717!
