You Were the One I Was Protecting — an emotional cinematic love song inspired by Drawn Together (2026), starring Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García.

What happens when the person you're hired to protect becomes the person you're willing to fight the entire world for?

This romantic bodyguard song tells the story of a protector who knows how to stop danger, read every threat, and keep everyone safe — but never learned how to protect himself from falling in love.

“You Were the One I Was Protecting” blends emotional female vocals, cinematic piano, atmospheric production, powerful orchestral elements, and a commercial rap section into a dramatic love story about protection, trust, vulnerability, and finding a person who feels like home.

Inspired by Drawn Together (2026), the Prime Video romantic thriller about Marfil Cortés and her bodyguard Sebastián Moore. After Marfil's kidnapping, her father hires Sebastián to protect her, forcing them to spend almost every moment together — and an unexpected attraction begins to grow between them.

The movie stars Ester Expósito as Marfil Cortés and Hugo Diego García as Sebastián Moore and is based on Mercedes Ron's novel Marfil.

If you love bodyguard romance, emotional love songs, cinematic romance, forbidden attraction, slow-burn relationships, romantic movie songs, and powerful movie-inspired music, this song is for you.

This is a fan-made/inspired song based on Drawn Together and its characters. It is not an official soundtrack and is not affiliated with Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios, the filmmakers, or the cast.
