I can't believe you actually predicted the moai enemy being in Mario Kart. Hahaha

49:25 “You got a GameOver in Super Mario Wonder” had me dying 😂😂😂😂

I gotta be honest, despite new super mario bros DS being the first game I played and practically the only one I have any nostalgia for, but like, the other ones are just better. Like idk man, but after playing Mario u, i think everyone is just still spiteful that they kept reusing the visuals and didn’t realize that it’s actually really fun

Everybody knows the best 2D Mario videogame is Mario Bros Encore on Atari 5200. Like, duh.

I was dying laughing all vid bro, I didn’t think I’d watch the full hour when I clicked but I enjoyed every second

When i played mario wonder i was like WOAH now this is actually how you make a brand new 2D mario game. I was legit expecting another rinse and repeat mario 2D game although i still find them very fun but Mario Wonder just blew me away, hopeully they can keep this formula up with sprinkinling in brand new content and features in future games. Playing this gave me a new standard for 2D mario games.

I absolutely love Super Mario U. The thing is, I understand people were sick of that style of game when it came out because they’re were several before it that pretty much had the same look and ideas. But I never played those games. I skipped the Wii generation entirely, so this was the first of those games I played, and it blew me away. I’ve played the others since then, and I still think it’s the best of the bunch, even though they are all great. I would go as far as to say it’s probably in my top 3 of the 2D games.

The Rivercity Ransom ragebait is just wow chefs kiss.

This video is really good in terms of quality. It’s a crime it only has 1k views, this was well put together and was entertaining. Nice work!

So Super Mario Land 2 is an open world 2D Mario. So Nintendo did open world first.

No way dude, you forgot about Super Mario Bros Special.

Bro, your opinions are literally parallel with me, I FREAKIN LOVE SML2

18:49 guys did he know?

1:42 They messed up my order at Toadstool Cafe and at that point I couldn't really do anything about it because of the messed up reservation system and how long everything takes.

Yes, I totally agree that NSMB2 has some great level ideas, and I'm glad to see someone give it some appreciation.

Thanks for finally giving super mario land 2 some respect its so creative and pretty fun and short but I still see people put it near the bottom because of the game boy limitations.

for SMB2: honestly i found the characters to be pretty well-balanced in my recent playthrough! mario's good to take into levels when you don't know what they are yet and toad is very fast at digging so he's great for sand levels. luigi and peach are definitely the best though lol

Big fan of your style man, hoping more people come to the Sam side in 2025 🔥

youtube algorithm was DEMANDING I watch this video all day and I have to say it was worth it in the end. good video. do more of that

Smb2 usa is a fine game, with polished level design. Best ending song ever, too.

Its fair to say that the game structure made more sense in doki doki panic though, with the battery backup, and having to overcome each section with all the characters.
