I put Tweels on my 36' Scag V Ride 2 and I will never not have Tweels again. I love them. They are great on slopes; I mow inner city and no longer worry about running over a broken crack pipe. Honestly, its one of the best purchases I've made.

This video didnt paint the best picture for tweels. However, You Ed and wright mfg are an honest salesman! I can respect that.

Very well explained. Thank you.

Thanks Ed! And I'm sure not many other  manufacturers would actually ask their consumers to revise their research. Never cease to amaze.

Great video from a truly objective view! Great explanation and comparison based on facts rather than bluster. :-) I have never had tweels and am awaiting a new machine with them. I am looking forward to trying them out. I must say, though, that your video makes me second-guess my decision that was made based upon all the hype out there. I mainly wanted them to help on a hill at my home. But it looks like they won't be much better than regular tires. I have never had a problem but was hoping the tweels would help my anxiety on that hill! I am sure I will be pleased with them based upon this video and maybe they'll payoff dollar-wise in the long run. But it seems to me that their performance is pretty much the same as good tires. Fortunately, there are no flats in my future and I don't expect to ever buy another tire for a mower. Although I have had tires leak a little aire in cold weather, I have never had a flat on my zero turn. Thanks for a well-done, informative video.

Great video  One of the best (if not THE BEST) video comparing Tweel vs. Air.  I can see some advantages of the Tweel but you have to weigh the cost vs. use.  Thank you

I've noticed a good bit of difference mowing slopes side ways, the tweels have no side wall flex or downward slope movement compared to air tyres which makes me feel more stable and safe on slopes

thanks for making and putting out this vid..🙂

Love to have them tweels on that unit. Been waiting on a zxt 72 with dual tweels. Tweels on (backorder) make it happen ED 🤣

Ive used both..i do love the tweels for low maintenance and overall down time..air tires have more affordability and adjustments in pressure

I see that the chart says the average life of air tires is just 500hrs.  I have to assume that is because for professional landscapers, there is a lot of wear and tear driving on pavement or other hard surfaces between jobs and during loading/unloading.  I have a ZXT-72 and a Skag TT2-61 for our 30 acre, all grass horse property.  The Skag has over 1200hrs and I only had to replace one rear tire after I sliced it on a fence post screw.  They show almost no wear on the treads.  Just a comment because that stat on the chart really surprised me.  Great video as I was wondering whether tweels would be better, but I think they wouldn't be worth the expense for my use, but I could see the appeal for the pros out there.

One thing you didn't mention as an advantage of pneumatic tires is the ability to fill them with fluid and add weight for traction.

👍👍

Ed, Ya'll still put on the best videos and very easy to follow because of how you are explaining things.

I have a Mi 360 scooter, all 4 air tires went bust (2 original and 2 spare) with light usage really. Eventually I changed to holo wheels / tweels. Now they last forever. Tweel economy works.

I like both l have both smaller mower decks like my JD 920m 48 doesn't have tweels in a 24 950 12 size

when a flat tire happens you remove the mower to the trailer and use a backup mower..done, zero lost time or money. I will get these when the new tires show wear or i get a flat.

Great Vid. I have always wanted to try these, especially for piece of mind on jobsites.

I love my tweels $1300.00, for the pair on my Ferris.

Great info thanks!
