I'm losing it at the explanation of the house "we want the sims to die but we also want them to woohoo" do you think god thought this

@wonpomme 1 year ago

the 10 woohoos difference between 2024 and 2025 is a recession indicator in my opinion

dans little "oh my god" after the smoke clears from the meteor 😂

the amount of effort she puts into these streams every year is so impressive and SO worth it! adding all these different objects to get the sims to do the most exciting stuff possible, using the CC windows to get the best view, listening to the SOUNDS of lots to get the best ambient noise, incredible!!

hearing simsie say ‘i guess the hotdog water was delicious’ was DIABOLICAL

The ending, I’m so sorry for your loss please take a long long break! You’ve worked so hard this month and you’ve gone through such a tough loss.

21:21 with the lovestruck romantic satisfaction, i use a mod by lumpinou that disables the time decay for my gameplay because i’m not a fan of how lovestruck changed it! that could always work for future unpaused videos so you can keep the blanket lol :))

The fact that ~2.2M has been raised for St. Jude and that her fundraiser raised 30% of that amount (~660k) is insane. An amazing community for an amazing creator. ❤

UPDATE : 1 MILLION?!? HOLY SHIT GUYS! ❤

I'm very sorry about your grandmother passing. I will say, don't feel too bad. We all deal with grief in our own way, and when you first find out about it, you're really in a state of shock for the first 24 hours. So it probably wouldn't have changed much, and it gave you something to focus on, rather than the pain.

I suggest giving them more inventory items they might use - some ideas being future cubes, freeze rays, blobs of clay, knitting, etc.

I watched this live, and i thoug it was so kind of Dan coming to fix the game every so often and the chat was screaming "hi dan" meanwhile kayla was on dans account saying "im kayla, im in dans account"

@Aric-jc8hs 1 year ago

I tried this challenge myself and it’s funny how none of her sims cooked because that’s all mine did except the only cooked white cake

@sirromap1021 1 year ago

ideas for next year: 1) fireplace with carpets in front. (sims will start the fireplace and carpets are likely to catch fire, also Father Winter will spawn/despawn there on Winterfest); 2) lot trait option "gnomes" (broken items get repaired overnight)

Cutting this all into a short YT video must have been SO MUCH work

25:10 If I had a nickel for every time Vlad died early in stream to a meteor strike, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice 😂

For the next unpaused event you don’t have to remove lovestruck, you can get Lumpinou’s mods that disable romantic satisfaction and relationship decay.

My grandmother passed on Christmas after a nasty fight with cancer. I get it. But it's also important to not let yourself down too.

And absurdity and dark humor are great coping mechanisms for situations like this. It doesn't get more absurd than doing objectively dumb things after bad events.

My family still had Christmas dinner and celebrated my dad's birthday, which my grandmother died on. Plenty of hysterical laughter during those moments of realization. I played DnD every day after until new years. We were the scourge of every town we stumbled into. Be silly.

Healing is making time to do things that matter to you and make you happy. Don't feel guilty for living without them. ❤

Maybe next year Lilsimsie could turn on the Self-Sufficiency N.A.P. because it make sims fix objects around the house. It's way better than making tons of white cakes.

Every time I hear Kayla say death by meteor is rare, I think "are you sure?" I get that pop-up about getting inside quick like half the time I use that telescope. 😂
