It took a truly shocking number of hours to put together a video just shy of nine minutes, and there's still stuff I left out. But I've been meaning to make this for years, and I'm glad it's out there 🙇🏻‍♀️

What a beautiful video, with a lot ot truths in it

I absolutely love this video, it resonates in so many ways with what I also have to battle with. ❤❤❤ It just shows your dedication to your passion.

Absolutely love this insight into your lives! Thank you Zoe Sensei.

I have found your channel while looking for resources about Seiyunchin Kata. I'm taking part of an online course by Rick Hotton-sensei and in April we're learning Seiyunchin. My background is in aikido, I know next to nothing about karate kata, so this is a wild ride for me :) But I'm happy to be here and your videos have already helped me. I subscribed and I plan to watch more of them.

I am currently training to become a karate sensei. In my youth, I had some problems and was on the wrong path, and karate helped me find my way out. Today, I am a father and husband, meditate and want to give something back and pass on the values that have helped me so much in life. I believe you know why you do what you do. Through your Karate, you make the world a little better. Thank you for that. ❤

Heart felt  instruction well done👌
🥋🙏

Hi Zoe, great touching and sincere video.  The amount of work you put into this carrier is a lot, but think of it as a labor of love.  Yes you could of gone to corporate made more money, but that's not your calling.  Believe me your making a difference with these kids lives the experience that they get here will be with them for a lifetime.  You and Che and everyone there are just awesome

A deep and very honest ’day in your life’ which happens almost every day. Thanx for both your and Ché Sensei’s detailed teachings and video authentic Goju Ryu Karate, which I watch regularly here in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 Mind Body and Spirit 🥷🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️🥷 ❤️ from Northern Karate Schools Canada 🇨🇦

Very well presented!  It provided a perspective on things of which most martial artists are not aware. Bravo! Terry.

It’s a lot of work but I’m sure you’re proud and happy with the progress you’ve done since the launch. Your videos are helpful and very insightful

What a heartfelt and beautiful video. All the hard work and incredible skill you display is very motivating, it's almost like you're living my dream haha

I am still stuck in the "corporate world" and I always catch myself staring out the window (avoiding my paperwork) wishing I could go full time with my dojo.

Thank you for providing all of us with such passion!

Beautiful video! You are truly amazing, Sensei Zoë. We appreciate you!

Thanks for sharing!

Completely loved this!

Thank you for the wonderful video!

Hello Sensei

I hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to say thank you for your Goju-Ryu content on YouTube, your teaching has been extremely helpful and inspiring.

I was able to learn Gekisai Dai Ichi by following your training session, and it really increased my interest in Goju-Ryu. The kata are truly mesmerizing, and I’ve grown to respect the style more and more.I wanted to ask do you think your dojo may ever offer virtual classes in the future? Online training has become more streamlined lately, and I’ve had a great experience learning through virtual instruction in other systems. (GMAU) ~ Shotokan Karate Do.

If your dojo ever opened virtual training (and possibly online grading), I would be very interested in joining. No pressure at all I was just curious if it’s something you’ve ever considered.

Thank you again for everything you share.

Excellent video. How do you manage doing admin work while also dealing with ADHD, depression and anxiety?

Osu. No Kumite?!
