When I first started mountaineering, I honestly thought, "Yari is something to look at 👀 I'll never get close to it."

But as a lover of the Northern Alps, Yari is an iconic figure ✨ No matter which mountain I climb, it's always Yari, Yari, Yari 📷
The view of the peak from around Mt. Jonen, Mt. Washiba, and Mt. Sugoroku is particularly impressive, and I started thinking, "Someday! Someday...?"

Finally! In August 2023, I went via the Yarizawa route from Kamikochi ⛰

The ascent and descent of the peak were, of course, quite high, but
with the help of adrenaline and curiosity, I was able to climb it quite enjoyably.

That said, the first step down was incredibly scary 💦

From the summit of Yari, I could see so many of the mountains I had climbed before, and I was overwhelmed with emotion.

And Hotaka was super cool! ♡ (Is that a hint?)

I went to Mt. Yarigatake via Kamikochi in August 2023.
