8:52 "The beat comes in and it's just completely controlled and it subverts my expectations"
That's the genius of Lee Know's choreography. He arranged it so well

now I know why the sea is gone. this is a water theme. so much water, but at the same time no water at all. they're drowning but at the same time, they are thirsty. some phenomenon when you fall in love. everything feels messed up.

Their concepts in this mv is the little mermaid, thats why they use many jewelry with pearl and needs water 😂

The composing, arranging, and lyrics are credited to Charlie Puth and 3racha!
Also, Lee know (and others) helped make the dance and choose the best movements!

Dang Jordan you were fast with this one!!

This MV was so much more realistic than my future 🥹👏

The MV is based on the The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. In the original story mermaids live for 300 years and eventually transform into sea foam. In contrast, humans don’t live that long but they have a soul , the song goes so perfectly with the MV and this is a new side of Stray Kids that is really pleasant to see and you're right about the fireworks the song is about the unknown feelings of getting to know someone knew yeah the fireworks might represent the sparks into a new relationship

The ways he’s just aggressively complimenting the editing in this video will never not be funny 😭

It’s stray kids what did you expect !? ❤️‍🔥

I didn't think he'd get around to doing such a new MV BUT I'M SO HAPPY FOR THIS REACTION!

The MV was so refreshing imo and like Felix's visuals there and his haircut waaaa 😭🫶🫶

Lee Know finally had decent lines and a dance break He was amazing! All of SKZ sound so beautiful on this track. Thank you for the reaction!!

It seems to me the idea of MV is to show that for the sake of love, a choice is made between a familiar and long life without a soul and a new world with a short and difficult life full of love. This is an analogy with the Little Mermaid on the contrary, so there is a lot of water, symbolising the connection with another world, the world of water with a long life without love, which the guys are ready to leave. The last frame is very symbolic.

I love watching you break down their MV it makes me value every detail and effort put in. Things i wouldn't have noticed on my own

Hyunjin dancing so amazing so slyyyyy omfg

The reason why the choreo is more calm than how Stray Kids usually does it is because they're aiming for a more calm, vibey setting here to match the music. They talked about this a lot in the Lose My Breath Intro video! It was hard for them to get used to this concept including recording it because it's so different from what they're used to.

They're also expected to release a new album on July 19th, and they hinted in the Lose My Breath Intro video that their next concept is also gonna be a bit different from their usual!

Edit: The concept of this song entirely is a rendition of The Little Mermaid. Which explains them being parched because rather than them losing their breath on the surface, it's being on the surface that's causing it because they're theorized to be mermaids, and the scenes with the sea and all the pearls (that wasn't a marble in the cup in the last shot, but a pearl!).

it's based on Little Mermaid (original story)! and the chorus has ASL element cuz well the mermaid lost her voice, right? hjshjdhjsdjsj

Felix's rap is breathtaking
FELIX'S VOCALS ARE KILLER

Hyunjin devoured his rap verse and dance center. He truly is the best performer.

They are Mer people that gave up the sea for a human soul. They cannot have water anymore as a trade. The marble is a pearl. In old folk lore, when mermaids cry, their tears become pearls. At the end you see they have run towards the ocean, but only one is left and sea retreated and became a desert.Much of this was based of the Original Little Mermaid Story by Hans Christian Andersen.
