They hit throttle hold and do a autorotation to land. Throttle hold goes back to the day of nitro helis. It returned the engine to idle and still allowed collective pitch to be used with the throttle stick

Auto rotation is the maneuver I believe he was referring to.....
I like his style of being extra careful with flying the aerobatics

very good flight 🎉

I say many folks who started with Blade and switched to Goosky would be urged to throw their Blades in the wood chipper. No comparison! The S1 is great at taking bounces. The S2 is better at actually learning to fly as it’s easier to see and a bit more stable but not quite as bouncy as the S1 as while it takes a hit well, it breaks a bit easier.

I have flown heli's since 1989. These heli's today are amazing compared to then. You have to put in a lot of time on simulator to really get proficient. It's very rewarding and I love the challenge.

Good times right there!

Also always use cell checker if you are not sure about battery being charged..

I just flew 2 of those today it’s fast I’m getting me one and it can work on Futaba. I fly Futaba.

Please do hints in the next Heli videos for the beginner Pilots: Before every flight: Check that the battery is fully charged. Perform a preflight check. Move the swashplate completely similar correct to the sticks. Is the gyro correctly working. If only one servo from the swashplate does not work or not work correctly, the heli crashes and if you have a bigger one (e.g. 500-700 size) this can cause major injuries. Greetings from Germany for your nice videos.

1:31 Is that female connecter actually attached to the frame of the heli? That's be really nice.. I love my S-2, but it's the older one with the little hatch that opens on the front. Have an s-1 and RS-4, and like the way they look together on the shelf!
3:20 The way you plugged that battery in so easily makes it look like yes, the connecter is attached to the frame. That's a really nice little feature too. No one likes finnagelin' with tiny connecters.
4:31 Yes, using better charger will let you....charge with "charge-fi-dence"!
8:29 Auto-rotation.
You did well! Nice heli..

Cool helicopter!! Yeah, you should revisit it charging the battery with a good charger.

@Icantdrive55 11 months ago

So many companies are cutting corners by not including cables or even chargers. If they are not including a cable they probably should have not bothered with the cheap charger either. Good on you Nate for calling them out on it. ⚓️

Great stuff. 🖤🙏

GREAT

Nice Heli 😊

@Steve-Cross 11 months ago

Power off landing is auto rotation. Like an autogyro, you are just using the air through the rotor blades, to create lift. Just before you hit the deck, you flare. 😎👍
