DULCEEEEEE🙌🏽❤️!!! She is so knowledgeable maaan. I'm nowhere in this industry and I learned A LOT about how many peoples lives are impacted by a show being created.

Regarding the insurance opening conversation. Dulce had a responsible parent, and in turn is familiar, and responsible herself. A lot of people from poor areas don't take advantage of the services available to them because they don't know of them, or some wont take advantage. A lot of people don't even know what Medicaid is. (which is what she's referring to). Take care of yourselves ya'll

I loved that Jon Steward hand picked Trevor Noah and Trevor Noah hand picked Dulce Sloan. Insight with discernment.

The BEST part was how quickly the energy shifted. The conversation started with Dulcé basically giving “what did I sign up for?” energy.
when they got into SAG and insurance. But by the end, it turned into full auntie mode: “Wait, let me make sure y’all understand this. Let me help y’all get your insurance right.”

It went from feeling like she was walking into unfamiliar territory to realizing, “Oh, these are my people. Let me look out.” That’s what made the conversation feel so genuine. It wasn’t just industry advice, it was somebody passing down game and making sure the next people don’t get left behind.
