I went from a 2000 XL to Logic with a MPD24 to the MPC One Plus.  I love the MPC One Plus.  It does everything I did in Logic but I’m not clicking a mouse and staring a laptop.

MPC Live 2 gang 🔥

I cant wait to hop into the hardware of MPC. Really any hardware in general...Im still using MPC software 2. I need to dedicate myself first before I spend the money. Thanks for your content

Might be showing my age here 😂 but my first MP was the 3000. Then I bought Akai's Remix 16. When the 2000 XL came out I got that too. Had some problems with the screen a few times and stayed away from Akai until the MPC Sample popped up. Compared to all the units mentioned, it reminds me of the those with a little more bells and whistles WITHOUT all the 2.0/3.0 up sale. I think everyone loves the sample for it's laid back workflow and immediacy. Never selling that joint.
Peace Marlow.

We Need Sample Recall on all Samplers of MPC
Please shed light on this subject so we can have it implemented please
Pretty please 🙏

Gracias, Maestro!

real talk

I have sold mpc one and bought mpc sample. It is always with me.

Sometimes it feels like akai drip feeds new features into their MPCs so they can keep releasing new ones with "new" features every year or two instead of delivering a complete product. Like why are the ins and outs on the back so limited on some of these units that made an audio interface essentially necessary to track out your work into your DAW.

I'm always activating the touch sensor on the Q Links with my wrist and making the interface window pop up on accident, because I use my right hand to use the touch screen. It's pretty annoying, but not dealbreaking (I can always just use my left hand instead, pause). I still love my new MPC One G2.

I don’t use mine anymore but I still think the MPC one is the best form factor and button layout. It’s all very intuitive. I just kind of stopped using it but maybe I’ll dust it off one day

Dropping Easter eggs but it's not even Easter😅😅

This is not the first time I've heard of version 4.0 mentioned. It seems that there are already a few who have access to it. I hope they also support the One G2 with fixes and new features and that they don't focus exclusively on the expressive pads and sequencer on the Live III and XL.

Agreed.  I grabbed an "open box" One for cheap way back so that I could have something near my "work PC" when on boring calls, and that's all that would fit on that desk corner.  I can't load too many huge multi-sample plugins, like Fabric XL, but it's never stopped me.  Just makes me sorry that I purchased Fabric XL, lol.  I do feel like I'm driving "my fancy car" to town when I get back onto my Live II, because of the pads.  On the other hand, that does not have the great one-step, direct buttons to jump to Program Edit, etc.  Much easier to quickly jump around on the One.

Although I have al;ways dreamed of remote, battery-operated sampling... meh.  The reality is that these are all so expensive (and precious to me) that I get too nervous and pack them in so much to carry that it's not like the dream at all.  I didn't even need the battery on the Live II like I imagined.  Never use the speakers, either.  That could've been a Live I.  It's ironic, but when I travel, I pack up my One and a power adapter instead.

Wish I had space for an XL.  Same, same, same on the Q-links.  They make me nervous and slower, because if I am not precise enough about knowing what I am about to turn, I can get lost about backing out of the random adjustment I just accidentally made.  So, I've always envied those Q-links when I see you on your XL.

And, it already takes me too much time to set up my DPs.  I don't think I would enjoy sitting here an extra 4x as long to set those up w/ 4 sections per pad or whatever.  NEAT idea... not practical to moving quickly, though.  There are quicker way to add variation.

You're my MPC Hero, man!  Always keepin' it grounded.

(Thank you for coming to my TED talk.)

🎚💯🔥

I think the MPC One buttons are much better than the ones on the Live. Rubbery plastic on the Live also gets very sticky after 5 or 6 years.

I passed on the live 3 and XL because I felt like for the money I could buy something more powerful and bought a new cpu, push 3, and Ableton live suite. So I held out and started my journey with Ableton and focusing on my music composition skills. I did finally cave and bought the Mpc one G2 to add back in to my work flow. I do really enjoy it and once you come with a template for it in Ableton it’s really fun to use. I grew up with the MPC so I couldn’t just abandon my hardware sampler wants all together 😂

Awesome. And it was free.
