Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has alleged that CJP activists are receiving police notices and being pressured not to participate in the organisation’s proposed October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi. According to Dipke, Chandrapur police questioned activists about their travel expenses and the source of funds for travelling to Delhi. He also questioned how authorities could anticipate that the proposed protest would turn violent. These are Dipke’s allegations, and the police perspective should be considered separately.
