Love Garrett’s “hot takes.” He’s just saying what most of us are thinking.

42% reoffend within 1 year, and 83% reoffend within 10 years.
That's violent offender to reoffend a violent crime.

When my husband hears you guys playing from the other room I can always hear him yell "AND IM THE HUSBAND" 😂

“Let the jail run it’s course”
100% in Garrett’s side.

You guys have no reason to apologize. YouTube creators are still real people with real lives outside of here. We’re all just happy we get to come here and hangout with you guys every week ❤

Aniah was from my hometown of Birmingham, Alabama! My brother-in-law was good friends with her at Homewood High School and had a crush on her since middle school. 😢 We were all shocked and heartbroken when this happened, especially to such a kind, beautiful young woman. Angela Harris, her mother, has done and continues to do amazing work because of it though!! I love and watch MWMH religiously, thank you guys for covering this case with such respect for Aniah & her family ❤

Garret, checking out the house for safety after people have been in your house is top tier husband behavior. We love it ❤

I died when Garrett said “Who are you? DM me” 😂😂😂 get those jurors Garrett

Please don't apologize for life. We all need a break sometimes. I hope you guys get through it, Godspeed. Love the channel and can't wait for new Dear Daisy episodes!

I don’t think I’ve ever been this early for an episode 😧

I'm new to MWMH and appreciate all that y'all do and the way the y'all tell these stories for the victims. I NEVER post a comment on YouTube, but this story had me in tears, because it is too similar to a crime that was committed when I was a student at Auburn which happened in 2007.

I will not go into that story because this is about Aniah, but what I will say is there were 12 years between the two cases, and it took 12 years and another beautiful life taken from this earth for legislation and action to be done to protect women in Auburn (agreeing with Garrett's statement later in the podcast.)

Thank y'all again for what y'all do to represent the victims and I LOVE IT (PS - my husband is a prosecutor and hates that I listen to true crime since he witnesses it every day at work. So, he hates it too, Garrett!)

I was SO badly hoping when seeing the photo of him with the black eye and talking about kidnapping that that was as far as this story was going to go.
SO sorry for this family 💔

I think about this case weekly if not daily. Aniah and I were the same age and I went to high school about 30 minutes away from her. I was going to college about an hour away from her in Troy Alabama while she was at Auburn. Now I go to Auburn semi frequently and drive by that gas station all the time and I think of her every time in her family. I remember the town of Homewood lighting up with blue ribbons for her. Her mother is a guidance counselor somewhere around Birmingham and she is a wonderful person, a wonderful family all around. I feel so awful for them still. Thank you for covering her case with such dignity respect and research.

I have to agree with Garret, don’t put him in solitary confinement and let prison do its thing!

Coming from someone who is from Auburn this case was so sad and scary I remember my mom not even letting me leave the house. But what her mom has done for the state and missing people is just absolutely amazing. She is so strong

Thank you for covering this!! This was one of my requests and happened in my home town. It was so scary

im in my senior year at auburn and was actually kidnapped here my freshman year. college towns need to have more awareness around this type of issue; it's way more prevalent than you would think.

Garrett simply says what we are all thinking

i’m from birmingham al and this case always hits so hard, she was someone!!! not just someone’s daughter, wife, or sister!!! it’s so sad that she was taken so carelessly, rip aniah 💜

Currently enrolled at school right now for criminal justice, so I just know that your guises podcast is going to be the background noise for my studying
