Main reason is because I genuinely think itโs an achievable pond for the vast majority of koi keepers. I know how much those filters cost (and they are certainly not cheap) but when you compare a list of materials for this pond to letโs say a โspecialist hobbyistโ pond, yours would barely scratch the surface of what the other would in terms of costs. But the results are here for all to see. Itโs simple and extremely effective and Iโm a big believer in simplicity, donโt over complicate it and youโve nailed it.
Iโm a big advocate of Oase filters in general, had them for years on my indoor tropical/discus tanks in the past. So then naturally went down that route with the koi pond. Not only are they quality items, If anything ever does go wrong or you need a question answering, their customer service is just incredible.
I hope youโre both well and looking forward to the new season ๐๐ผ
Great video,it goes to show that you donโt need everything people tell you as your pond looks mint. Iโve got death cans as well and they do a great job and my water is good. Love the set up ๐
Ooh I love a good filter clean video ๐ Brilliant overview of the system and just goes to show you can keep big fish with crystal water on pressure filters and box filters ๐๐ช๐ช
