On Trieu Phong Calm Farm, a peaceful morning begins at home with a warm pot of chicken porridge. During this countryside day, I carefully prepare the porridge and share full bowls with Tom, Mun, and Lu. Caring for my dogs comes first: I stay close, watch them eat, and make sure every dog is settled before we leave the quiet farmyard.
After the meal, I head into the forest with my dogs, where we discover a flock of speckled forest chickens. With patience and care, I catch the wild chickens and bring them home β not to sell, but to raise. I settle the birds into the coop, begin raising chickens, and feed them rice bran so the flock can grow and breed on our peaceful farm. As evening falls, Tom stays nearby, Lu waits by the gate, Mun watches the bowls, and my dogs quietly rest after a full day of cooking and exploring the forest.
