The former Zehlendorf-Düppel S-Bahn line. Now a lost place. Closed in September 1980. The line is a section of the old Stammbahn (main line) between Potsdam and Berlin, which opened in 1838 and operated until 1945. From 1948 onwards, the S-Bahn ran on this nearly 2.5-kilometer stretch. Join us as we explore the history of what was once Berlin's shortest S-Bahn line. See also the celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of Prussia's first railway on this short route. Learn more about the Berlin S-Bahn here: https://www.ekshop.de/dvd-cd/dvd/nahv...
