Let me know what you thought of this episode! Are these homes worth the price?

Live there 3 years before you buy.
Get your permanent residency first.
Learn the language. Travel around to find the best place. Meet people they will help you.

I'm Italian. Note for all peoples want move to Italy: look for a house in a small town, so you will have bank, market, hospital. Living in the countryside looks good but have same disanvantage

THERE ARE NO CLOSETS IN ITALY, even the new ones. That big furniture is your storage. :body-blue-raised-arms:

If I ever want to buy a house in Italy, I'll shoot you an email, 10000%

Omg i’m so sorry, Marco😢 those were beautiful homes. I just think people’s expectations for such a low budget ridiculous.

Shouldn't they have done their research first before coming to work out how much money they'll need to buy their dream property.
Frustrating for real estate agents.

reading some comments from other italians like me and i agree with them, as a general message for people wanting to move here: take your time, visit, stay, live temporarily, get to know the real real italy before you decide either to invest or not.

the place makes the difference, the region makes the difference and so on. take your time.
Do not rush.

some people (not this couple specifically) might not even be "suited" for Italy (meaning they still have a lot of touristical sterotypical view of it).

Italy is beautiful but it obviously has its downsides.

the 1st and last houses were beautiful indeed!

they came to italy expecting it to be like montana 😂

This couple will never adjust to Italy or learn Italian… I’m surprised they thought of this move??

Hey Marco, you were kind and patient with these folks, who are getting a lot of shade because they didn’t buy, but you made a good connection and if they ever buy, I bet they will call you. Not all buyers are easy and fun, this is a stressful decision, you were great with this couple💙

From the start I was wondering why they weren't looking at higher-priced homes. Their budget would barely buy a 1-bedroom condo at home.

@gangsankim3570 3 months ago

Something tells me they will be regretting moving to Italy

I'm in N Idaho. WHY is Montana 'turbulent' ??? 😳 Unless you are near Yellowstone, but even then.
House #3 was rather perfect. Whatever you decide to buy and remodel, be prepared to WAIT for years of approval and work, and also pay the price for your Americanism. They will love you.🤣

this video is on another level, great production!!

right from the start that guy is off. 80K and he wants to retire?
i’m just gonna be nice and say what a waste of time for all parties involved and 80K budget and want to retire in Italy….😂😂😂

They obviously do not want to spend money. Reminds me of many of my customers who canceled their landscape account with us due to a $10 increase per month in America. Some people are very cheap, and others do not worship money.

Great to see the evolution of JDI. Love the new format, House Hunters Italy !

House#1 sounded like everything they wanted/needed: 2bdrm 2bath, beautiful views, wood work, plenty of charm, was close to a community of ppl so they could become friends w/neighbors! If I had $100k to spend on a home in Italy, i would have chosen that home as I would have $ to spare for adding my own personal touches & to save for medical expenses & for relaxing in my golden years! 😊❤
