現在の総社市立総社東中学校ですが、かつては日本で三番目に名前の長い中学校として名を馳せたこともありました。三番目(笑)(ちなみに当時の一番は北海道の学校でした)
全国各地で行われた合併により、色んな地域で学校名の改称があった時期でもありました😊
2005年まで使われていた校名｢総社市外二ヵ村中学校組合立総社東中学校｣は｢そうじゃしがいにかそん…｣ではなく、｢そうじゃしほかにかそん…｣と読みます😄細かい指摘、すみません(汗)
