Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a fantastic summer! I wanted to keep this video short because I know, if you're like me at all, summers are the busiest time of the year. So, in this video I put together bits of information regarding my most asked questions about painting greens, capturing a bit of light and I touch on composition.

I also am sharing a new easel! I love this easel, and I know if you look into it, you won't be disappointed. It has everything I look for in a plein air easel. It will be the one I use consistently. It is light weight, sturdy, laptop design, plenty of little magnets, hooks for hanging things, and two side platforms. I like it so much I painted mine matte black and gave it a customized image of a Tree of Life, Raven, and a Newgrange triskele swirl- all my favorite images. Should make me a better painter, I'm hoping! haha!  I have some videos waiting to be edited where I am using my old pochade, but for all future videos after those, this will be my easel.

Also, in other news~ I am now in a gallery. Ever since Covid, I had put off looking for a gallery, trusting to online sales. Upon a recent trip to Charleston, SC I found Floyd Fine Art in Pawleys Island, an hour north of Charleston, South Carolina. If you're in the area, you should really check out this beautiful gallery. I am so honored to be in amongst such beautiful art. Links for that below.
