I discuss how and why I changed over the last decade, from being more anti-sjw (anti-woke) to realizing the dangers of falling into that trap.

"Sjw cringe compilations" to "actually can we like, not be a dick to people" is a pipeline im glad i went through

The "fuck your feelings" crowd has a lot of feelings.

it never fails to astound me how so many men will be called a simp for showing basic respect to a woman, and then the same ones hurling that insult will turn around and blame women for men being lonely

I used to be anti-woke

Then my alarm rang

I used to be “Anti-woke” too but after meeting another anti-woke I was like “Oh damn is this what I sounded like to other people?” And gradually stopped being one.

Hearing a muscular "alpha male" looking guy talk reasonable and kind messages warning against anti-wokeness is a refreshing change

"You are what you hate"
I'm still not a billionaire 😢

i got blocked by an anti-woke friend I'd know for over a year because he said "prove to me that you are based" and i said "no"

I saw a Tumblr post where I believe one of the tags said "beware of what you do ironically, because you will in time do it ronically"

Funniest thing was some Anti-Woke dude telling Rage Against the Machine to stop being political

"You want to be a bigot, but you don't want to be SEEN as a bigot". Bullseye, brother.

"Facts don't care about your feelings" became "my feelings are hurt. Stop showing me facts"

Ben Shapiro completely lost it when he was interviewed on British television by a right wing interviewer. The reason, he was being held to account on his own words.

So many commenters disagreeing while that video hasn’t even been out for half the time it takes to watch the video. Most interesting

I like how anti-woke people call woke people "snowflakes" but they get pissy and hurt when bud-light makes rainbow beer cans. Same beer just a rainbow cover

The funny thing is that "woke" is an AAVE term that was appropriated from the black community to push political agenda. It literally just means being aware--AWAKE--to what's going on. No more, no less.

"No longer was it a movement about laughing at anger, it was a movement about getting angry."

Every single "circlejerk" subreddit explained in one sentence

Never really was anti-woke myself because i remember a 50+ year old co-worker who made a "women belong in the kitchen joke" and when no one laughed he said we were too woke to be funny. Its really just an ego thing for alot of these people.
