In July 1986, off the south coast of Cyprus, one of the Eastern Mediterranean's most effective arms brokers dropped anchor beneath a wall of white limestone that rises more than 200 meters straight out of the sea. He believed the open water was the one place no one could reach him. A single 7.62mm round, fired from a cliff hide roughly 640 meters away, passed through his yacht's saloon window at the one instant every 8 seconds when the swell held the glass still. He never saw the shooting position, and no one on his crew could say where the shot had come from.

In this video, we talk about how a Mossad team turned an impossible platform into a firing line, including the Cyprus arms bazaar of the 1980s, the forged end-user certificates that armed the Lebanese war, the informant inside a Limassol chandlery, the physics of shooting through glass at a shallow angle, the naval discipline of firing on the roll, and the eight-second window that decided a warlord's life.
