I had to look up the Chinese divorce process bc these stories always read as a hostage situation to me before someone even gets kidnapped. And after reading up on it, yes, it actually IS a hostage situation😭😭

Atp, mistake number one is always getting married at all bc these dudes are villians waiting for the point of no return

I cant stand childhood sweetheart's in these

This was surprisingly better than I thought it was going to be. Ryan has to live with the guilt and shame of realizing he killed his first 3 children and that his 4th only survived because he was blocked. Marcus is awesome and I love how he cares for Lily, FL, and his second daughter. Literally everyone else failed the FL other than Marcus.
This story is about character growth and grief, and I do love that Ryan is never offered forgiveness, only space. Ryan has his own grief and his own guilt to work through, and I also appreciate how they emphasize therapy and mental health, and how both Emma was sick but her sickness both infected and trapped Ryan. He is not blameless and has to carry the full weight of his choices.

Ma'am she's better than me because I would raise snap after the first miscarriage
