I don’t think anyone could play Hellboy better than Ron Pearlman. He has the perfect attitude.

I love this scene because Hellboy does the one thing that they never do in any movie: when entering a room, he looks around and then looks up

"My name is Hell boy, you killed my father, prepare to die".

This is such a great interaction between the two characters, Hellboy and Manning; they've been antagonistic the entire movie and then at the end of this mutual fight Manning offers sincere advice instead of being a shit.

The second-best "revenge for my father" quote in all of fiction.

I always light my cigars this way because of this film.

“HEY WHAT WRONG WITH YOU! “ gets me every time like bruh have you not watched the last half of your movie. Evil gonna evil ya know

Okay, but you do have to admit that this is the moment when Manning showed us that he actually does deserve his position.

A psychotic zombie Nazi with dust for blood who looks like a store mannequin from Hell swings a sword at him, and Manning acts like he just cut in line at the bank.

For a 107 years old war veteran, Kroenen is in great shape!

It’s really amazing how much emotion that Pearlman can portray so well while being so heavily padded and made up with prosthetics

Thing is, given Kroenen's physiology, he probably didn't die; but he's now permanently stuck in that pit forever.

- Hellboy got his revenge
- Manning act like a normal up standing civilian, got slash and literally just ask :"what wrong with you"
- Manning actually give us the world greatest advice on how to smoke a cigar
- The bond between Manning and Hellboy is not just boss and employee
this is why i love del Toro Hellboy, he approach it like an actually comic adaptation ( cheesy line, character act like they are in another episode of the show ) rather than go full on superhero movie

That moment when Kroenen is pulled closer, knows he's about to take a beating, and sounds out, "uh oh," priceless.

2:45 this one scene has more charisma and charm than the entirety of the reboot movie

Those are the most sincere "Thank You" 's that I've ever heard... underrated scene for sure

I feel like the ending victory cigar isn't given enough love. It's so simple, but it's a great man-to-man forgiveness scene. Love it.

Somebody falling onto to Spikes is a Cliche; BUT somebody throwing something heavy on top of somebody who has fallen on Spikes is genius.
