15:44 live footage of Tommy realizing his fans put more thought into the dream smp lore than he probably did in the moment 😭

Personally, I think Dream SMP was a spark for its time, due to Covid trapping YouTubers in and they gave us a proper lore sort of “movie” to watch over the two years of quarantine

definition of "you just had to be there", in the middle of covid when there was barely anything to do except watch our screens for an entire year. dsmp made it more bearable; it was something fun and light-hearted to enjoy but then it also had lore and factions and "sides" for us to sink our teeth into.

3:23 "i genuinely dont remeber its allt just kind of a blur" not for us mate

It’s so weird to no longer be a kid watching another kid play a video game. But an adult watching another adult reminisce about a time playing video games that meant different things to both people but was a huge part of both lives. Crazy.

this is like exposure therapy rewatching dsmp vods omg😭😭😭😭

18:23  “…and their symphony… forever unfinished” damn that hits hard

4:54 this gives me vibes of where you’re in english class and your teacher is making you analyze a random part of the story that holds not relevance to what is actually happening at all

The thing was, we saw these ACTUAL PEOPLE as characters in a show. But the moment techno died, they started feeling like real people. So it didn’t feel like a show anymore, and it slowly died out, that’s why people are revisiting it, to feel almost what of nostalgia, and feel that same feeling they did a few years ago.

The Dream SMP was one of those things that you had to be there for. Looking back on it makes it seem much less interesting, but being there in those streams were some of the best moments of YouTube

cringey time in my life? yes.
did many members turn out to be bad? yes.
but it was the thing that genuinely made me so happy in a time of my life that was so bad.

Crazy that, of all people, technoblade was the one saying, "good things dont happen to heros..."... why is it so true...😭

present tommyinnit reacting to past tommyinnit was exactly what I needed today

I think it was definitely cringey, but who cares? It was one of those rare moments where we put aside our cool kid act, and played make-believe again. We were spy’s, warriors, and even playing house. How many times do we get to do that now we’re older?

12:46 THE VOICE CHANGE BETWEEN TOMMY 15 AND TOMMY 20 OH MY

It’s so werid watching Tommy now because it feels like the smp ended like yesterday. I was 13 watching the smp and now I’m 17 and it’s so bizarre rewatching clips and realizing how truly young Tommy was.

9:12 Technoblade saying "good things don't happen to heroes" is crazy

Technoblade never dies❤

A bunch of people just making memories together. Given what’s happened with some former members, it’s under a much more bittersweet light, but I don’t think it’s wholly bad or anything.

it’s so weird calling dsmp nostalgic now when it was just four years ago i was fourteen when dsmp happened.

0:18 LMAOOO NO WAYY THIS SENT ME
