Hi from Turkey, as a mechanical engineer who passionate aviation sector. I really love the video. Thank's a lot to Matej for its inspiring knowlage.

Greetings from CNX, great show. thank you.

Прекрасное видео, очень интересно было увидеть как делают корпус и крылья. Мне понравилось, что можно придти и согласовать все материалы самолёта, его комплектацию и раскраску. Теоретические можно заказать 20 единиц одинаковой комплектации.

This is amazing ...a lot to compare with experimental aircraft  made america

Hi from the UK.  Just found your channel   Awesome Video. Thanks for sharing.

Very Nice Information. Thanks!

Outstanding  video. Thanks

When a mud-dauber insect builds a mud nest in your tank vent…. The vent gets blocked, the fuel used by the engine…creates a vacuum in the tank…

The wing surface starts to slowly collapse….

This is called ‘oil canning’, from the days when engine oil came in cans…. Emptying the oil out of the can caused the can to collapse….

I have seen this once in 30 years of flying…. Always check your fuel vents during the pre-flight…

Great presentation JMB!

😃

Really looks like a First Class facility... and nice looking planes...... was this Co. at Oshkosh with these planes ?😁

I am surprised that the Czech Republic has such advanced technology and a nice factory. Everything was shown and explained nicely.

They only care about paint job and 'giving you that feeling '. All that matters with planes is SPECS.  Will it do your mission or not.

I did not know the EVO was being made again. Is it Experimental or going to be certified for the USA or not available in the USA?

Good video and it's always interesting to see how they build it but I think he wasn't telling the truth when he claimed they spent 600 hours painting it. And 3500 total. 600 hours to paint it, that's just crazy. I think they are trying to justify that they tripled the price for no reason...  I did the math on czech salaries and how many employees they had and how many planes they made and it costs them less than 50k$ to make one plus avionics and engine. And they want 400k for it. So when you buy a VL-3 you buy a small house too for JMB. And Rotax gets a Tesla for free :) Garmin just robs you a Rolex or two.
Robbery aside, JMB has dressed up the plane a lot since taking over. To his credit he does paint scheme and interior a bit like Cirrus which people seem to really like. That's a very inexpensive way to increase the appeal of an aircraft so everybody should do that. Also he added the little cargo door as an option. That adds to the impression of the vehicle as more sophisticated. More excitement about using it even though it doesn't make a real difference. Iirc it was purely a fiberglass plane so it seems they just add a layer of carbon fiber on the inside so they can claim it's carbon fiber for marketing purposes :)
It should be fairly easy to rethink the plane as pure carbon fiber and it pays for itself, CF is not expensive and then it might be significantly lighter. Maybe 100kg less. Maybe more. 380kg is not light. The Rotax is about 85kg
I never liked that the parachute lines are in the skin, it breaks the strength of the fuselage and is a major complication. Just let the plane dangle nose down instead. It's an emergency feature, it doesn't have to be comfortable.

Hi needs to slow down and not stutter so much!
