MAN CITY: My FINAL Word on the 115 Case | Premier League Is CORRUPT

Claret and Booze

After everything that has happened surrounding Manchester City, the Premier League and the 115 charges, I’ve got one final word to say on the subject.

In today’s Daily Ramble, I give my final thoughts on Manchester City, the Premier League’s handling of the case, the wider issues surrounding Premier League football, and why I believe the problems go far beyond Manchester City.

Have the Premier League damaged their own case through the way this situation has played out publicly? Is Football's governing structure in England fundamentally flawed? And what happens next for Manchester City?

I also look at the return of Premier League football, the latest football talking points, and why the game we love feels increasingly dominated by politics, money, regulation and controversy.

Brilliant video mate. That is the most balanced commentary on the City situation that I have heard from anyone in the last couple of weeks. I cannot disagree with anything you have said. As a VERY long - time City fan who suffered for years during the 50 s and the early 60 s from insufferable united fans, both at school and work ,while living in Manchester, I know whatever the outcome genuine City fans will stick with the team, in great numbers, with enthusiasm and good humour as always. Good luck West Ham.

I can’t thank you enough for putting out videos like this, as a life long city fan we have had so much thrown at us over the past few weeks, no amount of success (something you could argue we were well over due over the years) is an excuse for the amount of abuse and battering we have recieved from the fans of the leagues elite clubs. If we defend ourselves or our club/owners we are delusional. Even if our owners have broken the rules what choice did they have. I would rather have owners who have ambitions and want to be successful than owners like the glazers and Mike Ashley. In regards to politics, you know Andy B has been sucking them off over the years to help regenerate Manchester and now clearly the country but if people are treating them the way they are in this country why the fuck should they spend there money bailing out England. As a country we are to busy paying other country’s and being a mug by taking as many illegal immigrants these other countries don’t want so this country is on its arse. The league is corrupt and needs changing, if other clubs owners aren’t ambitious whose fault is that. Thanks again buddy good luck to West Ham

Nick, the vitriol against City is completely bonkers and off the scale. Any punishment has to be proportionate. City have been accused of cheating over a period from 2007/08 to 2017/18. In that period City won the EPL 2 times; what about the 8 times they didn’t win it? Man Utd won it 3 times. In the same period City won the FA Cup once, what about the other 9 times; Chelsea won it 4 times. It’s not as bad as the cartel are projecting it to be. They are using it as an excuse for how bad they have been.

The land in east Manchester was poisoned brown field land. City owners cleaned it all up

I’ve pushed a lot of City fans to your last couple of pods. There are only a few of you calling out the shiteness of the PL and the anti-competitive nature of maintaining the status quo. We’ve tried to get round the rules brought in to stop us and have had a witch hunt ever since. We’re now fucked as a football club but at least we had the consolation of dominating the Red Cartel for at least a decade. One minute owners could spend what they liked, we won the league and then wtf, raise the drawbridge, this can’t be allowed to continue for these Blue upstarts! Anyway, what a ride - see you from Div 2😢

I have seen just 2 balanced views on YouTube, you and Simon Jordan. Both of you have a similar opinion, and as a City supporter of 65 years I more or less agree with you. The EPL is under pressure from the original ‘big’ clubs. For example, tell me how Man Utd, who are £1.3 billion in debt, is a better format for running a football club. The club only survives by generating enough money each season to pay the interest on the debt. It stinks!

Great video Nick mate as always

The City case will roll on for another 2 - 3 years. City wants it to get to the courts. I believe every process & result so far, City expect. City are not that dumb. Are the Prem & FA dodgy? Hmmmm! Many more ask that question.

Very well nicely said. 👍

I hope you read this, because I have a question that I desperately need an answer for... How do you feel about AI's ability to help make your life easier in making these videos? Because you were a little vague there, and I wasn't sure if you LOVE it, ORR if you LOVE it a lot!!

Soucek shouldn't be anywhere near the first team period

Great video, class banter, more important you tell it how it really is. What creases me is the self-righteous indignation of the Cartel and their grovelling Press buddies. The rival compilers are more interested in the clicks and payoffs.
Also there's no way in for anyone else as you say Newcastle and Villa should be flying....no way thats happening. FIFA, UEFA, PREM totally bent as anyone with any honesty in them know for certain.
Good luck for the season, come straight back up 👍👍👍 from a lifelong City fan.
