Congrats mate on a great vid; well filmed and edited, and an informative commentary. It is superb country all through there. In the mid 1970’s I took a small group bushwalking for 5-6 days from the Wombeyan Caves Rd, down into and across (a swollen) Wollondilly River, through Yerranderie, the Kowmung, up Tarro’s ladder to Narrow Neck and finished in Katoomba. I look forward to your part 2 vid.

Nice enjoyable video mate. You must be running multiple cameras to get some of the crossing shots, or had to replay them several times. Either way good job. Cruiser needed a good tub afterwards!

Looks like great country. Planning on doing this route soon. Seems like you were going through after heavy rain, as well as snow, so I'm guessing the river and creek crossings wouldn't normally be that deep?

Great vid.
I've done this trip about 5 or 6 times in one form or another and filmed it maybe 3 times.
One of my faves and probably the first Offroad Trip I ever did.
It's a great drive that's Easy to follow but some parts can get confusing because there so many turn offs especially after Mt Werong where you head into the pine forrest at Banshea Rd.
At the end of Range Fire Trail at Mt Werong Rd you turn right to head to Yerranderie is also a nice spot up camp and explore.

Hi, thanks for the great video! I don't have a snorkel on my Mazda BT50. Do you think the trip is doable without a snorkel?

I have wanted to do that track for so long now and we finally got almost all the way down there and before the EGR valve in my car died and we had to get towed back home. We will get back out there again one day, though. Great trip and great Video, thanks again for sharing.
