1/2 terrier...1/2 alligator

It looked like he was expecting you to hit him or yell at him when he misbehaved. He was watching you and looking at your face for clues , waiting for your action you would take towards him. When he didn’t get one his aggression towards you didn’t escalate and tolerated the groom the best he could. I wish the best for the little stray that will need a kind and steady hand to guide him. You did such a great job !

"You're fine."
Look of wild disbelief

The side eye he gave you when you put that cone on was hilarious!

That muzzle fitting was slick

I had a foster exactly like this. I can confidently say my pack of beagles rehabilitated him. He was no longer scared and bitey..he thought he was a hound by the end of his time with me. Just a happy go lucky dog.

In the bath, when Vanessa tells him "no biting", he looks so confused, like "but miss, it's my whole personality!"

Respectfully, that is not a dog, that is a snapping turtle.

His barks sound like shoes on a basketball court floor.

Every single nail had its own unique squeal 😂

The little paw when you were towel drying him was too cute. I'm so glad he got to experience kindness and patience with you since he was clearly so scared.

This young woman is absolutely remarkable ! She is truly wonderful with these stressed , anxious dogs. She’s calm, she kind , she’s a lovely human being. ❤

That was one swift muzzle application.

Poor little guy. So much fear. I hope he finds a good home with a lot of love.

Okay the yelp after every nail clip when we know he's not getting hurt kinda had me chuckling. He's a drama king for sure

23:27 his little ears perk up when he hears the words "go for!" That's adorable!!!

Poor bubba. He’s precious. I hope he can learn to trust and receive love.

Poor Dawson. He’s just acting out of fear and nervousness, but he seems like a sweet boy under all that fur. Great job on the groom. 😉

Besides his joint issues (knee issues are constant with my terrier), I believe he has severe tooth and mouth issues. Dogs can become quite aggressive when mouth pain fogs their perception of humans who might be helping them. I hope when he's neutered, they not only shave his face but also pull his infected teeth that I believe are hurting and altering his behavior.
