The Victorian engineers did a great job building the Cape to Cairo railway. With little technology they made a railway line that has stood a test of time. The Victoria Falls Railway Bridge fits to be one of the Wonders of the Man-Made World.

@ 44:01..."drinking Shake Shake..." The concept of this beer originates from Zambia in the Early 1990s. Before then we used to drink a maize meal based opaque beer called Chibuku (meaning brewed according to the 'big' book). It could be drank in open tins, in  taverns.
Later, hygenic considerations made the company behind it, National Breweries, to repackage and modernise its taste for the export market and wherever it went, the name Shake Shake stuck. This is a true testament to the closeness of the of the peoples of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi, Namibia and South Africa. Our colonial heritage is really hard to ignore.

The towns are very dirty because of poverty and lack of education. The ANC government has looted the contry even more than the  colonial powers. Pleas do this trip again.
