Max don't like Andreas's wife, Andreas don't like Max's. Ladies that broke the band. Happy International Women's Day.

When Max left the band, that was it for me.... haven't went back since. However, if the original line-up went on tour, you could bet your ass I'd be there.

Sepultura is absolutely nothing without Max and Iggor

Quote:
When Max was 11-12 years of age, he desired to know what the bands he was beginning to listen to, were singing about.  He got a red dictionary called Barsa and began translating songs, word by word.  This was also how he eventually learned English. He discovered he had a good memory for learning languages, at this young time of his life.

He evolved through Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, ACDC and many others.  When he was 13, he discovered Motorhead and translated DANCING ON YOUR GRAVE, from the album Another Perfect Day.  The word Sepultura caught caught his eye, and he immediately chose the word to be his first band's name.  The name came before Max even had a band, or band members.

Speziization:
I have nothing more to add

Never mix business and personal lives. Involving a spouse in the finances of the band was a fatal error

"I think the whole world would like to see it" You're goddamn right.

I'm a Sepultura fan, both past and present. A reunion would be cool and all but it's much easier said than done. I am of the belief that Andreas refused to do it because Sepultura continued without Max a long time ago. It would be unfair to Derrick and Eloy and obviously Andreas and Paulo aren't prepared to undo all their hard work, and rightly so. Perhaps in the distant future we might see a reunion.

Common Max and Andreas, just forget and forgive, we all... the fans love Sepultura, you all the BEST... the LEGEND. Life is short, let's get back like the old glory days, please 🤘😘🤘

We will never kniw what happened in that breakup, but remember that Iggor (Max's own brother) remained in Sepultura for years without any problem. For me, that says a lot.

there are two sides to every story. even Maxs' own brother didn't talk to him for years. can't just blame Andreas.

I’am so proud to say that i got to see the original “Sepultura” in 1997 in Hamilton,Ontario,Canada at “Copps Coliseum” which is a hockey arena that holds approximately 17,000 people. It was an epic show with Sepultura - Danzig & Ozzy Osborne. All three bands kicked ass but Sepultura went on first & let me tell you they fu€king killed it big time! Sepultura I think made Danzig a bit nervous with how much the crowd loved them & this was the tour for their arguably best & biggest album with “Roots Bloody Roots” album. I was only 20yrs old at the time & 3 of my buddies & i went in my old 1984 Ford SVO Turbo Mustang.

Max made me happy on this four and so minutes of the video. He wants a reunion and do old Sepultura songs, because they are the best ones he says. Willing to put things that separated the band behind and do a reunion tour. I guess is up to Andreas. Please Andreas accept and go on in life. Give us a real Sepultura live show, with the original members. That will be something that you'll never regret!

i grew up on sepultura on my teen days. i still listen to them and soulfly . i saw soulfly in wolverhampten 2003 i think and it was legendary and saw them at donington the next year . my point being i do not only have sepultura and soulfly logos tattoed on me but it is also branded on my soul . god bless them both

A lot of the members who left soulfly over the years also complained a lot about Gloria...

"old songs are more powerful"

Max Cavalera

Sepultura without Max doesn't exist for me! Soulfly Tribe !

And you wonder why Kisser and Xisto don't wanna make a reunion tour with you? Meine Gute!!!

The only time I was ever scared in a mosh - Festival Hall, Brisbane Chaos A.D. tour...
Opening with Refuse/Resist - Territory - Arise, and played at what seemed like double tempo it was brutal and over in a flash, bodies flying everywhere, arms legs and heads crashing overhead from crowd surfers. I was against the front barrier right under Max and it was absolutely unreal. Great memory.

The rest of the band ask for Gloria to leave, including his own brother Igor..that`s why Max left sepultura.

that's what happens when you let your wife run the show
