Fun fact: there was an idea for the ending that was scrapped where the janitor would get into his car and take out a notebook that says “The Unites States Most Haunted Places” he would open it up and listed inside are names of all these haunted places in the US that are crossed off, one place on the list is Willy’s which he would cross off.

You keep asking "who is this man?"

It's just Nicholas Cage. He didn't even realize the cameras were filming. This is just a normal day in his life

Nicholas cage killing the FNAF ripoff is possibly the best Idea I've ever heard

I want a whole franchise of this guy murdering horror movie tropes
Slashers
Aliens
Ghosts
Kaiju
Vampires
Werewolves
Zombies
All while never speaking a word

Cage is our silent video game protagonist!!! He does his tasks in cleaning and his drink is how he replenish his health!

Honestly, The Janitor is one of the best movie characters of all time.

This is a film that isn't trying to be anything other than a damn good time, and it does it perfectly.

Loved this film. It's a film that seems like it shouldn't work, but Nicholas Cage is able to act with just his looks and it's hilarious. It's the best slasher-comedy I've seen in a while. The teens tell him to get out and he just looks like, I have a job to finish. He's a prime example of solid work ethics.

Director: I want mister cage to play this role!
Staff: but sir! He said he doesn't want any dialogue....he said he will just grunt and scream
Director: GOOD! THATS EVEN BETTER!

19:24- Cage’s face right there is like: “Goddamnit, I’m on break.”

Also, this is why you respect the janitors, they do whatever they can to keep the place clean and safe for people. Nick Cage is just doing a really good job.

I finally understand what people mean with a movie 'it's so bad that it's good'

It was stupid, cheaply made, utterly ridiculous, and didn't take itself seriously. I miss horror films like this.

We need a series of movies where there's just a horror movie villain doing there thing and then the Janitor shows up and all of a sudden the horror villain is trying  to escape

I'm really glad you enjoyed the fact that The Janitor doesn't speak. Personally, that's one of the best parts of the movie is the fact he doesn't say anything and doesn't react to any of the craziness. He just does his job diligently and goes with the flow. Amazingly that's what makes him so interesting, you wonder about who he is and what his background is and you never really want to find out. It's much more fun to theorize and guess!

I think the reason they never fought was simple: they didn't want to risk it not working.  Imagine if they'd actually gone in guns blazing...and it didn't work.  The town would have been screwed.

The Janitor was just responding to the threat in front of him, so he didn't care about anything but doing what he had to.

Nicolas cage, he's a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. He's the guy you call to kill the robo boogeyman. Lol

Man, these Ghost Rider sequels are getting weirder and weirder

I want to see Cage's character return in other films.  Just have him thrown into classic horror movie concepts.  He ends up at a Crystal Lake homage and just rips a Jason ripoff apart.  He ends up in a suburb and crushes Michael Meyers head.  He has Freddy Kruger knockoff invade his dream and he just kills him.  A Chucky knockoff... destroys it.  The potential is endless.  Just the ultimate horror movie subversion with the monster/villain/slasher completely emasculated.

The Janitor is worthy of another movie with oddball monsters.  Hope this movie met the producer/director's vison because it is totally nuts.
