I stumbled upon this video a long time ago and I'm intrigued by this board game. 3 years ago, I finally bought Tokaido and I watched this video again to teach my friends. I now collect board games, this is my origin story. Thank you Rodney.

You are a very skilled tutorial master.

I need to stop watching your videos or I'll be in bankrupt really soon! You're too good at explaining and after watching your videos I just want to own the games! Congratulations!

Your animated intro for Tokaido is really good - probably the best intro yet.

I'm surprised your videos were so good 10 years ago. You really had this craft down from the get go.

These should be the instructions to the game, as the provided printed versions are woefully unclear. Thanks!

I love how he says cards "curds" xD

This could be a prequel to Takenoko (made by the same designer). The travelers in Tokaido are going to become the caretakers in Takenoko! ^_^

One of the best game tutorials I've ever seen.
Ready to start my first session of Tokaido without any troubles, thanks! (:

Man, it is great to go back and see these older videos. I think you've adapted and grown a lot in just 4years, but the older content still really holds up. Haven’t said it in a while, but thanks for what you do, Rodney. Have a great holidays.

I love the box art. Beauty in simplicity. So many have garish over the top art.

Don't think I've ever watched a better instruction video. Concise and easy to understand. Who needs an instruction booklet with such a great video available? You are the best of all the game instructors by a mile.
