I am so in love with my room this year 🥹

Also, huge shoutout to everyone who has given me tips (and told me to use hot glue 🙈).

Thank you for watching my video 🌸

Great classroom set up and love that you got everything to work! Have a great start to the year and can't wait for the next one! :)

Can you do a video on building thinking classrooms? Would love to hear about that.

Holly, create a Donors Chose project to get those white boards for the BTC. That's what I did. The WBs are 3 x 2.

Painters tape on the wall, hot glue the non-sticky side and it will hold your posters for years.

I buy a metric butt ton of pencils and allow students to take one as they need and keep or return. That said, I let them know if I see them broken on the floor, they go away for all. And if someone takes one every day, I notice, and we have the discussion that pencils are reusable and should last more than a day :)

Use wet-erase markers for the calendar. Vis a vis is the brand I have.

I have magnetic pencil holders and hooks on my whiteboard. They take a pencil from the pencil holder and leave their ID badge. They don't get their badge back until their pencil is returned.

Can you talk more about the IRC? Is it some big printing building?

Some years I just give out pencils, but that’s expensive. I have found success buying bunch of a fun/silly pencils and having kids trade me something of value (a shoe, binder, or Chromebook) for the period.

I love your channel. I used to watch from like a rando YT username.

I am starting my two semesters of student teaching math to finish my program in Sept.

I am curious to learn more about your approaches to learning, assessments, and classroom mgmt.

I mentioned in my last comment that I binge watched all of your vlogs. The one back in October you mentioned you might try small groups. I don’t recall seeing a video after that if you actually did or didn’t end up doing that. What was the verdict?
